FPL Hangover Podcast

The second International Break of the season draws to a close and GW9  offers us a chance to redeem our miserable beginning to the FPL season.  Made somewhat easier by the fact that Seamus' Wildcard is open for  business... and business is good!

Storm Lorenzo came and went without much damage, which is quite appropriate considering how GW8 played out. There was not many points on offer this week, and Seamus has seen enough and activated his wildcard. We discuss all the relevant topics from GW8 before we answer your burning questions in the Drunk Tank.

Green Arrow Fever has taken FPL Hangover Studios hostage. This episode  also contends with GW7 and with a Wildcard just played, another on the  edge, how can we adjust to the current FPL landscape in time for GW8 and  beyond.

We finally have some green arrows to celebrate this FPL season! We reflect on a bonkers GW6 and discuss vice-captains, points off the bench, and poxy last-minute Wilson goals before turning our attention to GW7. There is also an active wildcard situation this GW as one of us finally pulls the WC trigger.

GW4 was not the high note we had hoped for with our FPL teams, as the  red arrows keep flying. But fear not all you mortal FPL warriors, the  international break should offer us some well earned respite.

With GW3 behind us, we ask "Is it time to panic yet"? Another distinctly average week for both of us means that the FPL Hangover is very real this week. Especially when Seamus looks at more points sitting on his bench. We answer all your questions in this week's Drunk Tank as we try to find those budget enablers that will allow you to rise to the top of your FPL mini-leagues.

GW2 is out the door and the FPL Season rolls on. Dissappointingly,  Seamus and I get our first dose of red arrows but we don't let that get  in the way of spitting out some white-hot FPL truths! 

FPL is back with a bang this week! While GW1 may have  left many a manager with a smile on their face, as always, we still have  plenty of questions to ask. Has pre-season analysis paid off? Do we stay the course or rip up the team-sheet? Is Kyle Walker imitating Pep? Why not stop-by, grab a pint and have a listen?

It may have taken two attempts! but it's here... Episode  43. The penultimate episode before the FPL, and our 2nd Season, kicks  off. Transfer rumours and pre-season form wreak havoc with our initial drafts, as the deadline for Gameweek 1 draws ever near.

We're back with a brand new season! Summer holidays are outta the way  and Fantasy Football Pre-Season has begun. We cast an eye on the most  sought after FPL assets while also looking at the dificult decisions  that may lay ahead. 

It's finally here, our first ever Season Review. We look back at all the  highs and low that marked the inaugral FPL Hangover season. There might  even be some new additions to our Stable Boys! 

It's all said and done, the book has been read and the  race has been run. Coming at you with the penultimate episode of our  first season. Seamus basks in the glow of his excellent final Overall  Rank, while we both have a bitch and moan about our GW38 red arrows.          

The finish line for this season is fast approaching and hopefully GW38 goes smoother than GW37. Two red arrows last GW have left us shaken, but not stirred.

After burning Triple Captain City to the ground in GW36, we look towards the penultimate GW37. 

 Double Gameweeks have all past and gone. All thats left is dust and tears. Seamus gets another triple figure haul. 

After our Wildcards fell flat on their faces in GW34, we try not to  dwell too much on the misery. Instead we gallantly stride towards DGW35,  bloodied noses but heads held high. 

With the final BGW of the season firmly behind us, we bask in the glow  of our green arrows, all before ripping our teams to shreds. That can  only mean one thing folks, it's Wildcard Season, Double GW's beware! 

Seamus has a 34hance to revel in his glorious DGW32 triple figure haul  before we look forward towards a bleak and blank GW33. Ger sheds a  solitary tear. 

Two free-hit chip weilding maniacs share their thoughts  on a very miserable GW31, before tackling what should be a stress-free  DGW32. Seamus gets a tan.

We stare into 32the abyss of BGW31 after neither of us having a bad GW30.  Decisions decisions everywhere and boy do we have a think about it. Even  without fully knowing how either of our teams will look come the Blank  Gameweek, we are already looking forward to the deadline. Seamus gets an  earful. 

These week, after GW29, sees a green arrow bonanza hit our podcast  shores. However, GW30 offers us a whole fresh circle of hell. With BGW31  fast approaching, as is common parlance... 'Winter is Coming'. Joe the  Cat pays us a visit,
