FPL Hangover Podcast

We take stock of the FPL rollercoaster that was the 2019/20 season. Looking back at lessons to take with us as we move towards the next season, which is already just around the corner.  The FPL Hangover Podcast Mini-League has ran it's course and we announce the winner and the final standings. A big thank-you to all that got involved throughout the year and we hope to see you back next season...

So it's all come down to this, Gameweek 38. Many the FPL manager, that has been here before, can attest to the euphoric highs and devastating lows that the final gameweek has to offer. With that in mind, Free Hits and Hail Mary shots are the main source of puzzlement for your two plucky podcast hosts as they offer one last prayer to the Fantasy Gods.

GW33+ almost complete and the window for climbing rank is quickly closing. It's FPL pedal to the FPL metal as we head towards GW34 and beyond.

FPL has returned with the usual highs & lows that only the Fantasy Premier League can offer. Double Gameweek 30+ has been pretty gracious to the Hangover Studios but with GW31+ just around the corner, we don't have much time to enjoy the view.

FPL project restart is just around the corner and The FPL Hangover Podcast is back! First remote recording where we come to terms with the destruction of the FPL Hangover Studio and what lies ahead for DGW 30+.

This week we have a podcast divided by different coloured arrows, as we're now heading headfirst into the 'make or break' part of the season. What damage has GW29 caused? It's nothing compared to the havoc we'll be sure to wreak on our own FPL teams in GW30 and BGW31.

After a forgettable week for many an FPL manager, we look GW28 in the eye one last time, before moving on to all the madness that promises to be GW29.

GW27, a miserable affair. For my FPL team at least. Ger on the other hand has his green arrow and is hot on my heels once again. But no time to dwell on a low-scoring GW because there is a blank GW28 ahead of us. What do we do with Arsenal, Man City, Sheffield and Aston Villa players? We discuss all thing FPL related once again

While recorded in the middle of the longest Gameweek in FPL history, we manage to look forward to GW27 and all the shenanigans that still lay ahead in the final chapter of FPL 2019/20.

We've stocked up on premium Russian vodka and lit ourselves a great big fire as we prepare for the winter-break ahead. We also recorded an FPL podcast. 

As we walk disorientated through the dust that was our #GW24, we look ahead to the upcoming fixtures starting of course with #GW25. We discuss this weeks most pertinent questions: What do we do with Mane now? Is it wildcard time? Do we sell Lord Lundstram? Heresy!

It's time to stop your grinning and drop your linen, DGW24 is upon us ! We got this episode out a day early for all the FPL maniacs out there. Stick it in your ears !

The preparations for the double #GW24 are well and truly under-way but have we have been over-looking Man City’s fixtures? Sergio Aguero owners in GW22 certainly were not. With only 4 points now separating them, it is getting close in the mini-league rivalry. Can Seamus overtake Ger for the first time this season in #GW23

We kick off the New Year with a bang! Fresh off the back of relatively successful festive periods, we look towards GW22. Hopefully the glare of  a swiftly approaching Double GW24 isn't too blinding.

We hope you all enjoyed the carnage of GW19/20 and came out smiling with green arrows. But there is no time to rest as the New Year brings a new GW. We discuss all things #FPL including the recently announced double GW24 and what that could mean for our teams.

The game-weeks are coming thick and fast now and both our protagonists have had contrasting fortunes in GW17. But there is little time to dwell on that with GW18 coming at us with some difficult decisions ahead: What to do with your Liverpool players for one. And with Man City hosting Leicester and Spurs playing Chelsea, who will be the outstanding captain choice this GW? We discuss it all and mor...

It's only been 7 days since our last episode but what has a massive 2 GW's done to the FPL landscape? We look at this and a whole bunch of other questions for GW17. Seamus gets another new notepad!

The FPL festive period kicks off with a bang this week as GW15 and GW16 come hurtling towards us faster than a fat kid chasing an ice cream truck. Silly season is officially over.

With Lady Luck up to a little mischief, GW13 kindly leaves us with plenty to discuss and we set ourselves up for a GW14 that, while it may promise to be bountiful, could very easily sink our FPL ships. Also, Seamus gets a  new notepad.

This week we shake off the International Break Blues and look at all things GW13 and beyond. However, there's only one thing that the FPL community is talking about right now...that's right.. The Stable Boys are back in town! 

The third International Break of the season is the only thing that  stands between us and complete FPL domination. So with that in mind, we  carry on pretty much as normal and reflect on all the highs and lows of  GW12.

GW11 has passed and we are now firmly into the season. Our podcast-protagonists have made poor starts by their own standards but are slowly climbing their way back up to rankings, one week at the time. GW11 was no different and brought some lovely green arrows. We discuss where the points came from this GW and who are the in-form players and teams ahead of GW12.

In this week's episode, FPL Hangover rises at the crack of dawn (well 9ish) to bring you fine folk an update on all the misfortunes that GW10 has wrought upon us and our FPL dreams.  Not to fear, I'm sure GW11 has it's own fresh hell to bring. Enjoy!
