The belief in the "Almighty God with Us" is a profound and reassuring idea that has had a lasting impact on my life. Through personal faith, corporate worship, experiential knowledge and spiritual guidance, I have come to appreciate the power and significance of this powerful belief, which provides me with a sense of comfort, purpose, and direction in my life’s journey.

Initially, God dwelled and fellowshipped with man and would always come in the cool of the day for fellowship with Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:8). When sin came, the Lord drove man away from His presence (Genesis 3:23-24), but looked for a way to reconcile man back unto His presence.

December has come and the Christmas season (Advent) is here. It is a time to remind ourselves again of the coming of our Lord Jesus to this world, when He took on humanity to deliver us from the bondage of sin and dwell with us. The two names of our Lord mentioned in our message text above give expression to the mission of His coming.
