Everything good in your life is from God, and Satan wants to destroy it. Satan hates your physical existence and will do whatever he can to end you. But we are not defenseless against him. God has given us a weapon that will make us capable of withstanding whatever Satan tries to destroy.

Satan wants to be ruler of everything-- that is his motivation. The people of God are God's treasured possession, so we have a target on our back. Satan will use our weakness and our pride to destroy anything good that will happen in or through our lives. Our only hope is to remain rooted in Christ and humble before God. When we let God fight our battles, we will be victorious.

Satan is the Father of Lies. He twists and warps our understanding of reality. He attacks our trust in what God has said to bring confusion and death. On our own, we have no way to combat Satan's schemes. Only God's word can bring clarity and life. The Sword of the Spirit is our strongest weapon against Satan's deception.

When a powerful Jewish ruler came to Jesus in the night, he got way more than he bargained for. Instead of being impressed by this man's devotion, Jesus taught him and is what it really means to be a follower of Jesus. He calls us out of the night.

Sex is the central to life-and our sexuality is central to who we are. But our view of sex is often influenced more by our experiences than by God. If we want to be satisfied, we need to understand what God says.

Dating is crazy. But it doesn't have to be bad. The Bible doesn't tell you how to get a hot date, but it does give us direction about how to date well. God's way is the best way, especially in dating.

Being single is tough. But it doesn't have to be depressing. The Bible gives us a clear path to joy and satisfaction as single people. We just have to have the right perspective and take the right action.

When we care about something, we want to tell other people about it.  But when it comes to God, things start to get weird. In John 4, Jesus shows us how to share our faith in a way that's natural and effective.

God has done everything for us. Now it's time for our response. God wants us to live like sacrifices that are alive. It's simple, but changes everything.

When we are made right with God, we get a new family. Along with that family comes a new identity and new privileges!

What is the Christian life supposed to look like? Paul gives us a picture in Romans 7 & 8. Spoiler alert: it looks like freedom and life.

Following Jesus isn't about doing the right thing out of commitment. No, it's about passionately doing God's will because that's where your heart is.

Our relationship with God depends not on what we can do, but on what he has done. Faith is far deeper than most of us realize but it's the only way to be reconciled with God. 

Every person is deeply broken. Unless we can confront the source of our brokenness, we can never discover the solution. In Romans 2, we learn how to diagnose our problem.

The apostle Paul had incredible confidence in the gospel. What he teaches us about the gospel in Romans chapter 1 can give each one of us the same kind of confidence.

The Spirit can transform you, you are never too far gone

Gossip is all around us--at work, at school, in our friendships, in our families. God is clear that gossip is harmful to everyone. Everyone suffers when gossip starts. Thankfully Jesus gave us a way to stop gossip before it starts. It's simple, but it works!

The truth is important to God, but life doesn't always seem black and white. The words we use to tell truth or to lie affect us and the people around us. Thankfully, the Bible teaches us a simple way to speak the truth.

Your words have the power of life and death. Too often, though, we fail to realize how our words affect other people. The Bible gives us some keys to using our power to build others up.

Only Jesus can free us, but we have a role to play on staying free from sin. A little known book of the Bible lays out the path to finding freedom that keeps going. 

"Don't just clean your house. Get a new owner!" When the Spirit moves into your life, the bad things can't stay. 

Jesus isn't ashamed of our shame. He wants to know us! He seeks us out! Our shame is no longer ours in Him. Jesus not only took all of our sin, but all of our shame and nailed it to the cross. Through Him we find healing. 

God uses people who never find themselves in the spotlight. Shiphrah and Puah had one job: deliver babies. But everything changed when they were ordered to kill every male baby they delivered. Their action teaches us what it means to be an Unknown for God.
