Forever Exiled

"It's that most wonderful time of the year!" "It's the hap-happiest season of all!" 3.20's Forbidden Sanctum launched just a couple of days ago and we got to get in a few hours of gameplay before recording. There's nothing like the excitement of what GGG provides us for the holiday season. It's like Christmas before Christmas! We were so excited, that we didn&#3...

Episode 165 flies at a mile a minute! With the 3rd manifesto (curses) to discuss, along with 3.20's The Forbidden Sanctum reveal, Chris Wilson's interview with Ziggy D, and Patch Notes, we had SO much to talk about and nowhere near enough time. GGG touched so many aspects of their game with this release! It was impossible to discuss everything we wanted to, but don't worry, we'll e...

This is so great! GGG is spreading out its many manifestos over weeks! We had two last week and one this week! So in episode 164 of Forever Exiled, outside of our usual awesomeness, we talk about the Eldritch Altar changes with some tidbits on its impact on the core game. Plus, who doesn't love minions? Whether you play Path of Exile all day long or only a few hours a week, the coming changes...

You know those times in life when you just can't wait for what's to come? Well, GGG had five posts this week that dramatically changed how Path of Exile's core is going to look in the future. Thanks to GGG, episode 163 of Forever Exiled is loaded with jewels, ailments, mitigation, Archnemesis modifiers, magic find, 3.20's Forbidden Sanctum...what a crammed episode! And that's n...

Episode 162 is as good as they come. With 3.19's extension, GGG's given fans plenty of time to fill out their Lake of Kalandra checklist annnnnnd hype! With three or four weeks to go until the 3.20 release, GGG has given us an announcement that they will be announcing some changes (in the form of Manifestos) which will come before the announcement of 3.20 where they will announce many more...

Episode 161 means BK is back! Welcome back, Brittleknee! We missed you! The more friends you have that like Path of Exile, the better life is. GGG made some pretty cool announcements this week that gave us insight into the "fill-in" events happening to close out 3.19 and the new Ruthless Alpha testing as it prepares for its 3.20 launch. So there was lots to catch up on. We also have a lot...

Ok. So. Here's the thing. Episode 160 is non-stop. It's not our fault! GGG just keeps posting stuff! Path of Exile's November Events have been announced and 3.19's Lake of Kalandra is not going core. That's a lot of juice to chug right there! But then our private league ended, we played PoE afterward as well, we posted stuff, we have opinions about other people's posts, com...

Episode 159 of Forever Exiled is full of 3.20 hopes, our 3.19 Kalandra's HC SSF private league progress, discovered secrets, Scion love, birthdays, and...well...you know us...everything else under the sun. 99% Path of Exile, that's us. Thanks for listening each week and thanks for the amazing reviews! Happy 9 years in PC Land, GGG!  Forever Exiled Info: www.foreverexiled.com Patreon Twitte...

Episode 158! With a game like Path of Exile, the theory crafting never stops! Well, unless you play GGG's game for a living...but we don't! So every week of the league is an exciting time to figure out our "what if" questions. 3.19's Lake of Kalandra is soon coming into its final month, our private league is starting, and Scions are going up everywhere! The theory crafting deci...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Episode 157 of Forever Exiled is out and...is full of...thanks? We have questions. Lots of questions. We have questions about Archnemesis. We have questions about private leagues. We have questions about building builds. We have questions about "normal" resists. While GGG is focusing on tomorrow's Path of Exile, we're trying to keep our fun/hour nice an...

It's been two weeks since we saw each other and last caught up on life and Path of Exile. Yet, in that time, even though most of GGG's 3.19 posts were about community events or involvement, you know what it's like being a PoE nerd; there's always something to talk about! KittenCatNoodle came out with your Lake of Kalandra lore video, the functionality of trade came up, "zombie...

This week we took a forced break from our usual routine (you know, life stuff) and were visited by our lovely friend, ShakCentral! Welcome back, Shak! We went everywhere together in our discussions of Path of Exile; quest rewards, Archnemesis, boss fights, on-death effects, IRL jobs, currency conflicts, GGG's direction... Like any good conversation, we talked about everything that came into ou...

Welcome to Episode 154 of Forever Exiled, where we talk about Path of Exile, stuff, and things! Though the Kalandra traffic is dying down, there are still many 3.19 goodies to discuss. There's swag recognition, the Atlas Passive tree, theory-crafting, Exalts with vendors, patch notes, and a bunch of other side talk too! GGG is always hard at work improving our favourite game and these recent A...

3.19's Lake of Kalandra has gone through many changes in the last few weeks. Sometimes it's frustrating to play through league changes and patches, sometimes not. When we are frustrated, it can be easy to overlook the positive results of some of these changes. There's a lot to talk about in Path of Exile Land these days, and the .1 patch GGG put on it this week was no exception. Thanks...

Another week, another sweep of Archnemesis changes. Another week, another response to Harvest wishes. Another week and GGG has been on their toes, pumping out communication posts, patches, and media presence. 3.19 has been busy for both fans and employees of Path of Exile. Lake of Kalandra has been an interesting league so far with endless subjects to touch on. Thanks again for joining us this wee...

For episode 151 we have BK back to go through the first week of 3.19's Lake of Kalandra! It's been a big week for GGG as Path of Exile had a surprising start to the league. Loads of patches that include drop rates and Archnemesis changes, along with a humble post from Chris Wilson regarding the current league's launch and the game's direction. The community had lots to say about th...

It's finally here! For our 150th episode, GGG has given us our first look at Kalandra. What a fantastic way to celebrate our milestone with some epic lore about one of Path of Exile's most iconic and mysterious characters. 3.19's Lake of Kalandra is filled with some "new normals; with the new Archnemesis setup, Atlas Tree changes, and mirror enemy planning, Path of Exile has given...

Sooooo...GGG's 3.19 Lake of Kalandra Live Stream and Patch Notes were announced and posted this weekend. Sooooo...you'll never guess what we talked about in this episode. You'll never guess ;). Episode 149 of Forever Exiled, a Path of Exile podcast is all about...LAWNS! ;-). We have so many things to talk about regarding this expansion; more than any other league that we can remember!...

Well! That was unexpected! So many mechanical overhauls! The Lake of Kalandra expansion is looking really spicy and with all the changes GGG brought to the table with the 3.19 Dev. Manifesto this week. You can bet that this episode won't be close to our target time of 45 minutes ;-). With so many mechanics and archetypes being changed, along with the teases of so much information still yet to...

Few EXPANSION names can excite us as much as Lake of Kalandra. Maybe this is the most intriguing one so far! With all of the possibilities with 3.19's title, GGG has us talking Path of Exile like we're new to the game! We even played 3.18's Sentinel this week and didn't even get to chat about it! Music, storytelling, quality assurance, predictions, lore, and all the other side stuf...

This week's subject list was thrown out the window right as soon as we hit the conversation of Sentinel going core. So many good things to talk about! GGG's 3.18 isn't moving on to 3.19 but to us, that gives us just as much to talk about as if it was going core! We also get into the true heart of Path of Exile, theory-crafting. Nothing feels quite as good as being overwhelmed with theo...

Episode 145 features more non-stop Path of Exile chit-chat over some excellent cold drinks during this fantastic summer weather. We covered topics from how we finished off our Forever Exiled 3.18 Sentinel private league, some old and new game mechanic changes for 3.19, and reminiscing of old Dev. interviews by GGG, and TONS of relevant topics for today that stemmed from Chris Wilson's most rec...

We had such a fun time playing Hardcore this week in our Forever Exiled 3.18 Sentinel private league! For those familiar with us, I'm sure you can guess who was more successful than the other ;-). With GGG focusing more on 3.19, there wasn't much in GGG Land that came our way, but good luck in the Gauntlet for those that are playing! For us, there were so many builds, deaths, and laughs th...

Slow news weeks mean nothing to nerds who love their games! This week's conversation touched on Path of Exile's Archnemesis system, of course, but also a bunch of other topics that made our "short" episode, just as long as the rest. Mirrored drops, lawns, ascendancies, lawns, the TRUTH about Multistrike and Ruthless' relationship, lawns, ground effects...you can't stop nerd...

The best part about GGG having a slow week news-wise is that it gives us some time to discuss subjects that have been waiting in the background. With 3.18's Sentinel over a month old now, we were able to take this week to catch up (everyone's favourite part) and talk about Diablo 4's release window and its possible impact on Path of Exile 1 and 2. It was a good talk as we both have ver...
