Forever Exiled

Our 3.21 Crucible private league came to an end this week and it was full of death, fun, and laughs. Thanks to everyone that played! We hope you died lots 😉 . Path of Exile and GGG had a quite week this week, which as you know, means nothing to us cause there's always good stuff to discuss. Tyler's PL progress surprised us, Diablo 4 is coming out this week, along with our hopes and dreams...

Stoopid Hardcore! 😉 It's fun to suck with friends...at a game, sickos. This week, we commiserate over our dumb hardcore deaths as we keep on trucking, and loving, our Forever Exiled private league (the 3.21 Crucible version). Path of Exile/GGG had a slow week when it comes to announcements so we had lots of time to chat about how lame really good players are, and how awesome it is when player...

We can't tell you how great it is to hang out with buds after a long week of work or theory-crafting (work is for chumps 😉). GGG had a slow announcement week this week which gave us an opportunity to go all Willie-nilly with the show notes and just chat. Don't worry, we squeezed in some Path of Exile 3.21 Crucible chit-chat on this "lawn-only" podcast. Though we had a lot of fun t...

It's that most wonderful time of the year, where we get to do lawn and Path of Exile stuff in the same week! It's glorious! GGG had a slow week in terms of posts/announcements...which never matters to us. From Growing Hordes to Ascendancies, 3.21's Crucible still has us locked in. Yet, with all posts/fingers pointing to ExileCon 2, our minds start day dreaming as to what's down the...

In episode 187, we get going and just can't stop. GGG pumped out their huge 3.21.1 patch, along with slew of hot fixes. Not only is there tons to talk about regarding that patch but we had tons to say relating to our weeks in Path of Exile Land too. Crucible has kept us both in-game for a month straight! So obviously, that brings us to Diablo 4 😉 . We had a great time this episode (as we alwa...

It's episode 186 of Forever Exiled! We're a good ways into Crucible now and there's still so much to do! Tyler's theory-crafting (daydreaming) while playing the Reaper and Justin's on his 3rd high 90s character. There's always something new to discuss in Path of Exile Land, and as usual, it leads us down the rabbit hole a bit ;). Thanks for your listens and support each wee...

We're two weeks into 3.21's Crucible and the Forever Exiled community is playing the league strong. Our general chat (#2121) is nice and active and our Discord just keeps on trucking. GGG has come out with lots of fixes/changes since launch; some of which came almost too late for some. The great thing about Path of Exile is that no matter what build mood you're in, or what mechanic you...

We have a week under our belt! Path of Exile's 3.21 Crucible has gone under the knife a bit since it was released a week ago and so there's tons to chat about. Honestly, there would have been tons to talk about without the changes as GGG's league starts are always exciting! So, basically, we didn't get to talk about anything we planned for because of the changes 😉 . Don't worr...

Path of Exile player's get Christmas 4 times a year. So merry Christmas! It's league launch week! 3.21's Crucible is finally out and most of us now have had a chance to dabble with it! This week we go with no notes. (We'll do a two week catch up next week.) Outside of a few congrats and thanks we simply yap about our leveling experiences along with thoughts about the league itself....

It happened! The long wait for the 3.21 league is over! 3.21's Crucible has revealed itself with all of its glory and it's...MASSIVE! The character passive tree is "completely" new, the Atlas Passive tree has "warp zones", Masteries...goodness...the Masteries, league mechanic revamps, ascendancy revamps, implicit changes, QoL love...the 3.21 patch notes were insanely huge a...

It's our last week of 3.20's Forbidden Sanctum before the reveal of 3.21's Crucible and all the hype that's to come! With 3.21's league reveal next week, it's our last week to chat about whatever! Lawn season is beginning as spring has finally arrived here...hopefully we don't get injured with our hobbies so we can't play PoE! Or maybe this is the time to risk injur...

Well, this extra 3.20 Forbidden Sanctum time has flown by fast so far! GGG has already revealed the name for 3.21! Crucible! So many of our listeners are still playing Path of Exile, non-stop, in anticipation of all the changes coming, league by league, for Path of Exile 2...and don't worry, we go full prediction mode for both the coming league, ExileCon 2, and Path of Exile 2. And for those t...

It's another great day to talk Path of Exile (and Diablo, Path of Exile 2, Betas, and ExileCon)! This episode we give the critics what they want! A lot of deep dives into the minute and intricate details of 3.20's Forbidden Sanctum end-game epicness...hahahaha! Yup! That's us! Nailed it (right Eben?). GGG started the new month long Ruthless Gold event this week...and we barely talked a...

With just over a month left in the extended 3.20 Forbidden Sanctum, GGG has given Path of Exile diehards a lot of creative ways to spend their time, and with prizes too! Not to mention, there's lots of new ways to die! Imagine! You can kill your friends in Group Play, even if they're on the same team! How great would that week be! The joy will never end...well, until the events do. 🙂 Than...

In episode 177 of Forever Exiled, we go non-stop. And it all started with corpses. Darn it, GGG! After all this time playing Path of Exile we're still being surprised by how some mechanics work! Though we're coming to the tail end of the Forbidden Sanctum, there's still tons of gameplay to be had, Atlas Passives to respec, questions to ask, theory-crafting to be...crafted! 3.20 is such...

Not even real life can stop the love of Path of Exile in a true nerd's heart. This week's episode, #176, features a completely drugged up, but passionate, Justin, throwing his 2 cents around like nobody's business. We get into a cool idea for a 10-day event, some pros and cons of curse investment/application, and discuss an article we read reviewing GGG's game from the perspective...

With the Forever Exiled Forbidden Sanctum Ruthless private league officially under wraps, we take the opportunity to talk about everything we liked and disliked about Ruthless. GGG had a lot of community posts this week which always helps with the "rabbit trail" conversations 🙂 . We have 2 more months of Path of Exile's 3.20 and tons more to talk about! (Like noses?) Thanks for always...

Real life can't get in the way of epic nerdness! Thanks to GGG's "What to Expect for 2023" post, we read between the lines and discover some "facts" of what's to come. We cover "all the bases". There's Path of Exile 2, PoE 2's Beta, Dialbo 3, Diablo 4, Deckard Cain, Albino Rhoas and their feathers, Ruthless, 3.20's Forbidden Sanctum (going core?), 3....

Our private league is about to begin! Well, by the time this comes out it will already be in full swing, but you know what we mean. Both of us intentionally didn't try Ruthless until now, so our private league will be the first time we'll be trying Ruthless. We can't wait! So much so that this might be our shortest episode yet! (Our private league starts within 45m of writing this.) Bu...

Even with GGG having a slow announcement week in Path of Exile Land, we at Forever Exiled never seem to run out of something exciting to talk about. 3.20's Forbidden Sanctum still seems to be running strong and it's great to see the community still so into PoE. Episode 172 is exactly that for us, too. We talk about our respec's, theory crafting, defeating uber bosses we haven't don...

There's a "1" at the end of this episode number...and we all know what that means! It's BK time! Brittleknee joins us for episode 171 where we talk about our successes and failures through 3.20's Forbidden Sanctum so far, along with some well-overdue IRL catch-up. GGG put out another big patch this week and is still pumping out community appreciation. When real life gets in the...

Hopefully the new year is treating you all well! In episode 170 we get down to the nitty-gritty basics. 2022 was a crazy year for GGG with tons of additions and "removals" from Path of Exile. The annual retrospective GGG post took us down some really fun paths and unexpected conversations. It's amazing how much content gets put out in four leagues! And, no matter how long you've be...

If you like any aspect of Path of Exile's gameplay (which, obviously, you do or you wouldn't be here), you won't want to miss this week's episode. In Episode 169, we had the opportunity to sit down with GGG's very own Hrishi! As a game designer for the game you love, he's had his fingers in the passive tree, unique items, Ruthless, gems...everything. Honestly, everything ga...

It's Christmas time! And what a crazy time to release the coolest support packs we've ever seen! It's an MTX fiasco this week! Return all of the gifts you've bought for others! It's time to stock up in GGG Land! Path of Exile also came out with their huge 3.20.1 patch this week that added a whole bunch of different fixes, modifications, and additions to the game. Forbidden Sanc...

So, you know when you have a fantasy draft of your favourite sports league and you get together with your buddy(ies) that are just as uber-nerdy as you about said fantasy sports league, and you talk about the draft results of everyone's rosters in your league...for hours? No? Well, I do. Here, we call that roster-bating. So, I need a two syllable word that's Path of Exile related to put in...
