Forever Exiled

Well, that might be the chattiest we could have been for a non-busy GGG week! 3.16 Scourge is still going strong with its 10-day events, our Forever Exiled Private league just finished, and honestly...the theory crafting never ends for us True Path of Exile Nerds. With 2022's core support packs announced, along with some massive changes to the Map Stash Tab (for Standard players), GGG gave us...

Scourge has kept us going, hasn't it? These short endless leagues have been great at the end of 3.16. We've had some fun trying out these new scenarios and are excited for the ones that follow. But as GGG gets ready for Christmas, we put on our 10-day private league. These leaguely leagues are great sources of joy for us, especially during the holiday season, as we love seeing people die a...

You know that feeling you get when you watch a show that you're stoked for, but the acting takes you right out of it? And then you just start making fun of the show instead of getting into it? Ya...In episode 114, we totally don't talk about that ;). We had a great time this week playing some Endless Delve and we're excited to get going on our personal private league as well. GGG had a...

Episode 113! We're back to the basics. Catching up on the last few weeks of your favourite games is so much better when you do it with a buddy. GGG has posted quite a lot of Path of Exile news in the last couple of weeks and it brought up some great conversation pieces. 3.16's Scourge is getting interrupted by some great events coming up and we have some great ideas that should totally be...

We have a very fun episode 112 for you! This episode was 99%...winged? We wong the episode? We totally winged it. We didn't have notes. Well, Justin tried to make some notes...but...it just made things worse...which made things better ;). The wonderful BRITTLEKNEE joined us again which is always an awesome treat for all of us. We had awesome conversations all revolving around our opinions of G...

I LOVE Repdigits. They're simply the coolest numbers. So you know something big is up when we have to miss our first ever episode, a repdigit episode (episode 111), in which BK was going to join us. So, we thought we'd treat you to our 50th episode, where we interview the musical legend at GGG, Kamil. We LOVED this interview. It's worth a second listen to, let alone a first. Thanks for...

It's episode 110! And still, with all of the 3.15 and 3.16 changes, we're still figuring out Path of Exile's new balances. It's been such a fun journey so far, getting used to the "new normal", as we brainstorm about different mechanics. In this episode, we talk lots about some of the theory-crafting we've come up with and what we've found along the way, we laugh ab...

It's Episode 109! Unscripted! Well, there were notes...but they were mostly ignored. We got so caught up in the conversation about Path of Exile and Scourge changes that episode 109 is going to be 110 instead. We had lots of comments and laughs about all the news and memories that GGG gave us this week. LOTS to have fun with :). We hope you all had a safe Halloween with your families (if appli...

We did it! We're a week into GGG's 3.16 league and we played so much Scourge, that we didn't even feel guilty loading up Age of Empires 4 (a 16-year wait!) for an evening. We had so much to geek out about regarding the new core and league changes that we could hardly contain ourselves...well Justin could. He's boring. It was a very busy week in PoE Land so we were all over the map...

Episode 107 of Forever Forever Exiled is loaded with nerding out! GGG launched 3.16's Scourge league this week and we told our responsibilities to shove off as we played all afternoon on launch day. In this week's show, we skip straight to the heart and just hit the ground running. It's non-stop PoE, from start to...almost finish. Hopefully, you are having great weeks; work weeks are a...

Well, that was a great surprise, hey? "Oh, by the way, Patch Notes will be posted after this video..." Wazaa wazaa whaaaaa? Well, I guess that's an end to 3.15's controversial (but awesome) Expedition and the beginning of 3.16's Scourge! It was the biggest patch notes that have ever existed and we nerded out 111% with all the stuff that excites us. GGG really went insane with a...

There are patch notes. There are Dev. Manifestos. There are launch teasers. But Dev. Manifestos for the Dev. Manifestos? This is the best. It just keeps getting better and better! GGG has graced fans with more massive changes to the core of Path of Exile. There's so much to discuss in the 3-part reveal of the direction 3.16 Scourge is taking us. In Episode 105 of Forever Exiled, we discuss all...

It's that time of year, folks! Well, I guess it's that time of quarter...you know...it's the Next League teaser time already! Alright! This week, in Episode 104, we discuss the teaser that GGG released for 3.16's Scourge, along with our final adventures in our Forever Exile Private league. We're hardcore players, but...only in heart...not in game mode. Our PL embraced the 3.15...

In Path of Exile Land, there are always goodies to discuss. GGG had a slow announcement week, so it gave us time to delve into some fun moments we had this week with our 3.15 private league. We're not very good at hardcore modes, but it's fun to suck at something and laugh about it. We also hit some milestones and got destroyed in our marvelous Expedition adventures. But in true Forever Ex...

Episode 102 of Forever Exiled! Huzzah! We had a great time discussing 3.15's core changes that came to Path of Exile now that GGG has had time to settle down post-interviews. It's always nice to be able to take a look at something after a good break; less emotion, more objectivity. We were all over the map in classic style this week. We talk about everything from lawns, sharks (PoE sharks)...

It's been a while since we recorded (in real life) so it was awesome to catch up with Brittleknee for episode 101. 3.15 has been wonderfully controversial and Expedition as a league has been great. This week we discuss our new mid-league builds along with some (only a few) massive topics that stemmed from the 3 big GGG interviews that we've had in Path of Exile Land along with Baeclast&#39...

EPISODE 100!!! To celebrate our 100th Episode, we wanted to do something special for both ourselves and our listeners. So for us, that was getting our first ever interviewee back on the show to catch up and talk about everything and anything. Tarke Cat was our first ever interview in Episode 13, so 87 episodes later, we were wonderfully pleased to be able to have him back! So much has happened sin...

Yes! Episode 99, The Wayne Gretzky episode! What a great number :). We did this episode in person and as a result, the conversation went off the rails nice and quick :). Lots of talk about the different builds we've played this league and how we've gone about adapting to the 3.15 changes GGG brought in Expedition. We loved the 3.15.3 patch too! Surprisingly, this week was 99% Path of Exile...

There's nothing like an interview with someone who's always smiling :). Chris was interviewed by Zizaran and Mathil this past week and it was awesome. There were some great questions and answers, which obviously gives Episode 98 lots of content to discuss. (It was so great to see Chris in such a great mood and love the questions.) But we also had some great laughs about Dumb and Dumber, fu...

This week in Path of Exile Land was a pretty unique one. GGG felt that some fires needed to be doused within the community regarding 3.15 and the overall state of the game. So Chris went on Baeclast to talk ALL things Path of Exile. It gave us some really juicy spoilers for future content but also brought up some issues that are way more important than Path of Exile itself. In this 97th episode of...

We got it! Expedition got the 3.15.1 patch. The non-letter patches are always a doozy. 15.1 wasn't as big as the mana cost change patch but GGG gave us some controversial changes (for some people) with tons of QOL improvements. It was a great week of news to discuss with so much content getting pushed that next week's episode will be just as jam-packed. This week also touched on New Player...

Welp! It happened. We had some reversals. This week was a crazy week in Path of Exile Land! Massive amounts of patches (that's a good thing at the end of the day) and even a cool community event in the form of Twitch Rivals via Royale! But the big news of the week was GGG lowering the mana cost of supports and extending the duration of flask ailment immunities. We've been quite high on Exp...

BRING. IT. ON. Act 1. Who doesn't want a challenging PoE experience!? Come on! What a great start to a new league. In Episode 94 of Forever Exiled, we talk about all the neat changes we noticed in Act 1 and how it compares to the "good old days" along with our personal experiences and opinions for Expedition itself. We felt it important to bring up Chris' "2nd Dev. Manifesto&#3...

Listen, I'm not sure what you want me to say here. It's a patch notes episode, m'kay? We talk about patchy things...and the CRAZIEST META SHAKEUP EVER! Probably. There is SO much to talk about with the 3.15 Development Manifesto and Expedition Patch Notes. GGG is making sure Path of Exile is going in the right direction and this step is not a baby step. Mana changes, trigger skills, ac...

OH! MY! GOODNESS! What a massive reveal! GGG isn't scared to make big changes to bring Path of Exile to the state that they are aiming for, and they're showing it here with their 3.15 reveal! Flasks, trigger skills, enemies, support values, new base types, new defense type (Ward), 19 new skill gems, and more, all getting a major overhaul...of course, all on top of the Expedition league rel...
