32 entered the competition, only one will emerge. Here it is, The Grand Finale of our three-part special. As chosen by experts (us), the top two Florida Man headlines go head to head and we do a deep dive into the winning story.

We narrow the field down to two, with more head-to-head quickfire battles as well as the usual discussion and speculation about some wild and crazy stories. What will be the ultimate Florida Man Headline?

Round 1. In the first of our three-part tournament, 32 Florida Man headlines enter into the ring but only one will become the ultimate Florida Man headline. In part one, 16 quickfire one-on-one deathmatches will narrow the field down. How can so much weird and wonderful stuff happen in one state?! Polish up your trophies, here we go!

FMNT vs. Immortal Dog   It's the final episode of the season. Our first competitor this week is a man who threatens to unleash his army of pet Florida Man Ninja Turtles on society. He's up against a kidnapping driven by the love of a Florida Man for his dog. This episode contains 100% more shameless product placement than usual because we want free beer.

Stranger Danger vs. Underage Drunk Alligator An unfriendly drunk houseguest saturates our first story this week. Then we have what may be our first alligator-related story. Beer and Florida Man…what could go wrong? Not many animals were harmed. Kevin and Chris also discuss strange past-tense verbs, discuss urinals, and reminisce about their history together before they became Florida Pod Men.

Attack, Sack & Crack vs Hover Heist Walmart’s TV department gets targeted in both stories today. One story ends in a cavity search while the other just floats off into the Florida sunset. Meanwhile, Chris really manipulates our scoring system, but will he get away with it? Come for the fun stories, stay for some free crime tips.

Hurricane Fighter vs. Snake with a Plane Head-to head this week: A Florida Man suggests the many weapons we can use to battle Mother Nature and a pirate-turned-pilot goes all GTA5 with unavoidable consequences. We also find out if eating during the podcast will be Chris’ secret path to victory.

88mph vs The Bite Competing this week: An unidentified time traveller who tries to recreate movie magic but winds up causing mass property damage; and a Florida Woman who gets her teeth into solving a humpy problem. Also, Kevin quizzes Chris about a previous story and things take an unexpected musical turn. Finally, should change our name to the Florida Pod Dudes?

I Married My Computer vs. Lost and Found Bleep bloop. In our technology-themed episode, first we meet a Florida Man internet porn-addict who finds his perfect match (insert floppy disk joke here). Then technology takes a back-seat resulting in our hero getting lost and asking for help from an unlikely source. Chris also calls one of our subjects “a prick”.

Machete vs Machete A week after we both came prepared with the same Florida Man story, we almost do it again. Seriously, other than Florida, where else can you find two DIFFERENT stories involving both potato chips AND machetes? This episode exceeds the recommended daily allowance of the word “buttocks”.

Keeping It in the Family vs A-Dopey-Photo-Shop All sorts of firsts in today’s wedding-themed episode: A duplicate story, our first tiebreaker story and a cameo by Kevin’s dog. Today’s first story features a rich Florida Man who has an “unconventional” bride. Then we hear about a funny mix-up at the printers which leads to a random act of Florida Man kindness. Teenage Mutant Fighting Iguanas vs Florida Man of Steel Grab your bandanas, capes and your favorite attack-reptile as we break down two superhero themed stories about the self-proclaimed world’s worst superhero, Florida Man (pants optional). Fans of public urination will be thrilled with this episode.

Bubba Gump Gone Bad vs Dinghy Anarchy We look at all things nautical today. First, we discuss Florida Man driving a car on a shrimp boat then, in typical Florida Man fashion, things get hot and heavy because of an inanimate object. You’ll need your fluorescing blacklight to play along at home. Oh, Forrest Gump makes an appearance too.

The Cure vs The Cursed Stripper Welcome back! For Season 3, we’re each going to find a Florida Man story based on a weekly topic. Episode 1 kicks off with assorted schemes and deceptions as Florida Man becomes Flim Flam Man! We look at a Covid cure which made its way to the White House and then find out how much money it costs to break a family curse. Only in Florida!
