Florida Pod Men: A Florida Man Podcast

It's almost the end of 2022 and this episode draws the year to a close with two more incredible stories. We've got one where a Florida Man uses everything as a weapon (except the kitchen sink, surprisingly) and another where time, and cheese, are of the essence - and subsequently valued at $5million - prompting a list of loony litigation. Merry Christmas from the Florida Pod Men. In this festive-themed episode we take a look at a Florida Man who was stabbed with a squrrel and another Florida Man who used a Christmas decoration as a weapon. Both stories lead to lists of horrible, horrible things. 

What do you get when you cross a videogame-loving daredevil driver with a game of frisbee golf near alligator infested water? Nothing really. Except this episode.

This week: A bloodthirsty senator in our first story seems normal compared to man driving with a clown mannequin and a live grenade in the second story. We also investigate strange driving laws and Chris loses his glasses.

After a few months away, we're back to make sense of our stories from all over the world. Join us as we begin to discuss, rank and mispronounce the names of the first season's idiots.

No new idiots this time around. In this brief episode we discuss how we plan on forming The League now that we have a season's worth of 24 idiots. We have homework, you have homework, Chris has Covid.

In the final regular episode of Season One: We meet an old-timey-wild-west-slowly-decaying idiot in Chris’ story. We also get a list of terrible Country & Western song titles. Kevin’s story introduces us to a pair of idiots who lose the element of surprise when robbing a bank.

Kevin’s idiot math: Army man + lederhosen + alcohol = Disgusting. Chris’ idiot math: Self-Defence + Atomic Wedgie = Death. We also hear about crazy festivals from around the world and learn the many creative ways you can pull someone’s underwear up their butt crack.

Chris entertains us with a bunch of idiots leaving bad hotel reviews. Kevin entertains us with a bunch of idiots trying to break world records. Episode descriptions have become brief.

This week we hear how several tales over the decades involving cloned dogs, a religious abduction and an artificial leg for a horse all twist together and land at the feet of one new inductee. We also meet a woman who does bad things at a zoo which lead to a lot of stories about animals defeating humans. No animals were harmed in the making of this episode but quite a few human fingers go missing.

We make plenty of space in the league this week for a man who lies about the size of a certain body part. Yes, that’s exactly the body part he lied about. He is joined by an individual identified both as “The Mad Pooper” and “Shirley” who defends their freedom to poop madly under their first amendment rights. Chris invents the term “on soft” and Kevin is (still) looking for an endorsement deal.

This week: A child’s mother is welcomed into the league due to the kid’s ridiculous follicle-based medical affliction. We also meet an Italian man who falls into an an optical illusion at an art installation. After our stories, we review ridiculous medical syndromes and overpriced artsy-fartsy art.

This week we visit a nasty gameshow contestant who is granted idiot status due to his lack of grace and teamwork. We’ll also introduce you to a similarly miserable fast food customer who loses it after not being told to “Have a nice day”! Kevin tries out for the Olympic copy/paste team and Chris isn’t wearing glasses.

Learn how to become rich like an idiot in this episode. You'll need either (1) a jar and a digestive tract or (2) a dead friend with a pension. We'll introduce you to an influencer who'll show you how to accomplish #1...if you want to wind up in hospital, and a couple of Irish friends who attempt #2.

Our first idiot in this episode is an American lady who gets naked and then gets stuck in a chimney. You’ll also be introduced to a hungry Japanese man who falls in love with a cockroach named Lisa. Plus, we discuss a new section “Insertion of the Week”.
