The Lord is going to raise up friends to help you in specific times of your life and sometimes beyond that.  I have seen this many times and I know the Lord has done this for me many times - both in putting me in others' lives, and putting them in mine.

There's a LOT of power in doing good without expecting anything from it.  I shared this in the context of Matthew 7:7, talking about this guy who just helps around in my neighborhood without any expectation of reward.
