If God trusts a person with something that He cares about, God will also hold them accountable for what they did and did not do with what He gave them.

If Jesus is the good shepherd and men are called to be like Him, then it"s important to know how to be tender with those who are most important.

Not only is it important to know who and what to fight for, but it is important to know how to fight and what to fight with.

If you have any hope of seeing the people that you love experience the life that God meant for them to have, it is only going to happen if someone is willing to fight for it. Are you a man who is willing to fight for his family?

One of the reasons that many of us fail —- especially men —- is that we've been following a dumbed-down and incorrect version of Jesus that isn't really worth following. But, if we could see Jesus as he really is and if we could understand how Jesus really sees us, many of the problems and challenges that we face in our daily lives today could be faced in a new, better way.

When asked for a better way to pray, Jesus directed his followers to ask a better question; "What do YOU want for me?"

When asked to teach a better way to pray, Jesus taught that there is a better question to ask than, "What do I want?"

God's kingdom is both here now and not yet fully realized. In light of that, Jesus tells us to ask God for what we need for today and what we need for eternity.

When Jesus was asked a question, his answer painted a picture of a time and a place where God and his people will finally be together, forever, in the way that God always intended. Can you imagine?

When we take our eyes off of Jesus we always end up in a place of regret.

Normally, our choices aren't between all good and all evil as much as they are between trying to determine what is important and what is more important.

What we choose to focus on reveals many things about how we see ourselves and how we see Jesus.

Mary is not better than Martha, Martha is not better than Mary...Mary just chose what is better. All things are important. All things are not equally important.

You cannot separate "love for God" from "love for people." Jesus doesn't allow it.

Many of us have gone down the wrong road. What needs to happen when we're laying by the side of the road "half dead"?

As we continue in the story of the Good Samaritan we will see ourselves in the lawyers attempt to justify himself, to give excuses and still feel like a good person.

In this story, we quickly meet a religious guy who asks a question many of us ask; but what if it"s the wrong question?

There is only one test commanded in the Bible to see if God is faithful and will take care of you.

Jesus describes what is competing for your faith and what has the potential to choke that faith out leaving your life"fruitless."

Jesus said a lot of things were true, better and led to life. Why should I believe what Jesus said, let alone, root my life in Him?

Don't be surprised when what Jesus says to do to experience a better life "doesn't work" when we put a list of "this deep and no deeper" limits on what he says needs to change.

Sometimes, when Jesus talks to us about what needs to change in our lives, it's like seeds falling in the middle of a busy highway.

Jesus makes the purpose of why he told stories very clear: "If people will watch and listen, I will heal up the broken, wilted, dying, dead parts of their lives."

Just like at a dance when there comes a time that you have to decide if you are going to dance or not, there comes a time to decide how you are going to respond to Jesus.

Dancing with Jesus means dancing with "people like that." (We IS people like that.)
