It's the final in-person episode of Five for Fighting Irish (at least for a while), as Ryan, Tyler, and Jack reflect on their times at Notre Dame with the help of a special guest: Tom Rinaldi! From bits to feels, this episode reflects a show that Jacob Irons says "is what Notre Dame is all about."

In the final show before senior week, Jack fulfills J.J.’s request with an in-depth men’s tennis NCAA tournament preview, then the two get existential about the Mets. Some South Bend bar talk also fills the conversation. Irons gets a bit unhinged on the call line as well. And Andrew gets to discuss Flyers playoff hockey!

Tyler overthrows Jack “Hollywood” Rinaldi’s hosting efforts. But Jimmy is the big winner as he calls in for a fantasy hockey victory lap. Jack’s birthday is also a discussion topic.

The vibes are laid back as Murph and Jack return from Easter Break and enter their final full month of college. Tyler joins late from the links to set the stage for a Name That Tune thriller.

The NCAA Hockey Tournament is approaching, but Notre Dame won't be in it after a season-ending sweep in the first round of the Big 10 Tournament to Michigan. Five for Fighting Irish returns from its winter break hiatus, now recording on Mondays at 6 pm rather than Fridays at 9 am. That doesn't prevent the guys from dealing with more technical difficulties, but it doesn't disrupt their typical jovial banter as the Irish settle into Big 10 play.

Tyler's Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl, but Andrew, Murph, and J.J. don't think he's enjoying it enough. A bad series for Notre Dame hockey against Wisconsin is part of that, as the Irish don't register on our list of Frozen Four contenders.

Notre Dame hockey finished its home schedule with a decent performance against Minnesota when it needed a great one. The NHL also had some marquee events over the weekend, with J.J.'s Devils beating Andrew's Flyers at MetLife Stadium as the trade deadline nears.
