In Mark 13:1-13, Jesus and his disciples are leaving the temple in Jerusalem when one of the disciples remarks on the grandeur of the temple's architecture. Jesus responds by predicting the temple's destruction, shocking his disciples. They inquire about when this will happen and what signs will precede it.

Mark 9 : 2 - 13 The Transfiguration occurs on a mountain where Jesus takes three of his disciples—Peter, James, and John. As they watch, Jesus is transfigured before them, and his clothes become dazzling white. Moses and Elijah appear and converse with Jesus, symbolizing the connection between the Law, the Prophets, and the fulfillment of God's plan in Jesus.

Mark 8:33 to Mark 9:1 presents a crucial moment in Jesus' ministry, emphasizing the challenging demands of discipleship, the divine purpose behind Jesus' sacrifice, and the affirmation of his identity as the beloved Son of God. Mark 8 22-30

Mark 8:13-21 recounts an incident where Jesus warns his disciples about the leaven of the Pharisees and Herod. The disciples, thinking Jesus is referring to physical bread, misunderstand his message. Jesus uses the opportunity to teach them about the danger of the Pharisees' hypocritical influence and the need for spiritual discernment.

The passage highlights Jesus' power over physical ailments, his compassion for the crowds, and the ongoing challenge of the disciples to understand the spiritual lessons he imparts.

Mark 7: 1-24 The Pharisees and scribes are questioning Jesus about the disciples' failure to follow the tradition of ritual handwashing before eating. Jesus responds by criticizing them for prioritizing human traditions over God's commandments and emphasizes the importance of inward purity.

Mark 6: 46-56 After the miraculous feeding of the five thousand, Jesus compels his disciples to go ahead of him by boat to Bethsaida while he dismisses the crowd. Later, during the night, the disciples encounter rough waters, and Jesus walks on the sea toward them. Initially terrified, the disciples realize it is Jesus, and the storm subsides when he enters the boat.
