First Eps

This week we watched the First Ep of the new Apple TV+ show Severance. We have a great discussion about the show as well as our favorite workplace TV shows of all time. We also have some interesting theories about The Office 😂.

This week we watched the First Ep of the new HBO series The Gilded Age. 1880s NYC never looked so...Gilded... That's just a little teaser of the quality of discussion you can expect from this episode...and lots of talk about hats. This week we watched the new Netflix show, Murderville. It’s a really cool idea for a show and we had a lot of fun watching and talking about the First Ep. Things then go a little off the rails as Keith takes a Murder Mystery Quiz that just may be the worst thing ever created. You’re not gonna want to miss this one!

We then discuss the 10 best ensemble TV casts of all time. We also spend far too long trying to determine what makes a cast an ensemble. Is it the amount? How they work together? Way too long...

This week on First Eps we watched the first episode of the new Apple TV+ Series Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. We have a great time talking about the show, reminiscing about the older version and casting a live action Fraggle Rock. We then are forced to make a very tough decision by choosing our top 5 favorite TV Show themes. There have been so many great themes it was tough for us to each choose...

This week we watched the First Ep of the new Netflix show Archive 81. This show is part found footage, part regular show, all intense. Basically the same as this podcast... After we talk about the First Ep we got through the 15 best found footage movies of all time. We have a lot of fun on another great episode.

This week on First Eps we change things up a bit and take a look ahead at the biggest and most anticipated shows coming in 2022. On a very special holiday episode we talk about a future classic...the new Hallmark Christmas movie, Nantucket Noel. We play the Hallmark Movie Game where after the first 3 minutes we try and guess the plot of the movie. One of us comes pretty close! After this disaster of a movie we need a palate cleanse so we take a look at a list of the best Christmas movies of all time...or so we thought.

First Eps is back with one of our best shows yet. We watched the First Ep of the new Amazon high fantasy series The Wheel of Time. We have a great discussion about the show and then talk about the lack of great high fantasy shows and movies in the past and the exciting growth of the genre in recent years. This week on First Eps we watched the new Apple TV + series The Shrink Next Door. We talk about the First Ep, Keiths hatred for Will Ferrell and I list my favorite Paul Rudd and Will Ferrell Movies while Keith tries to find one he likes. A fun time is had by all!

This week we watched the First Ep of the new Netflix series Arcane. This is an animated series set in the world of popular video game series League of Legends. We talk all about that episode as well as Video Game adaptations through history and a look at what's to come.

This week we talk about the First Ep of the new CW reboot of the Nickelodeon game show Legends of the Hidden Temple. More than anything, we use it as an excuse to talk about our favorite Nick Games and Sports shows. We were very excited to take a deep dive into the golden age of kids game shows, where we reminisce about the shows and curse the fact that we were never on one.

This week on First Eps we countdown the days until halloween and countdown our favorite Halloween shows, movies, music, games, everything that we like to do during the spooky season! We were unable to watch a new series but still wanted to do something fun for this week, we hope you enjoy!
