When Jesus went to talk to the Samaritan women at the well, He was showing us about both evangelism and true worship.

Serving in the church and doing good doesn't save us, but we do these things because He has saved us to show our appreciation.

Meaningful worship is thoughtful worship, not impulsive or careless. There are some steps we can take to help us be thoughtful in our worship.

Ministry and missions are two different sides of the same coin. For both, we need the right purpose, proper planning and continual prayer.

Why missions? We should strive for physical multiplication and spiritual multiplication. And we should expect the standard opposition to those. And to acheive that, we should be modeling Christ.

The best sign that you love someone is to obey them and do what they want you to do. The same applies to showing you love God.

When we read Matthew 28:19, it tells us to "go and make disciples". When we take a closer look, the imperative is more on the making desicples than the going.

How we approach our worship of God is a critical sign of our relationship with God.

Labor on earth in often motivated by the desire for popularity, power and prestige. More is not better. You can always be replaced.

If you are competing to "get ahead" you will end up empty. But if you are content with modest gain, you will be at peace.

By the grace of God, the persecuted church finds vindication and victory through living for eternity, maintaining commendable conduct, and accepting suffering as the will of God.

Christian Joy is proven through hardship, because joy from suffering leads to deeper faith and maturity.

God allows human injustice to exist in the world in order to clearly reveal to us that we have no advantage on earth. In other words, we are all going to die, so we should find joy in God's eternal work.
