Final Girls Feast

Sarah and Carrie are joined by Mikey Peralta Jr. to talk about the 2017 Brazilian film, Good Manners! We talk meat bags in the fridge, stolen microwaves, leafy greens, harvest festivals, corn cakes, pregnancy drinking, pinenuts, guarana soda, and more.

Sarah and Carrie continue their Miyazaki month with Spirited Away! There's spirit food, roasted newt, greedy No-Face, tea and cake, and we really get into the onigiri of it all. 

Sarah and Carrie are starting 2022 with a palette cleanser in the form of Hayao Miyazaki's delightful 1989 film, Kiki's Delivery Service. There's baked goods aplenty, pumpkin and herring pie, pancakes that will make you fat fat fat, and lots more! 

Instead of the typical top 5 lists for the year, we did "Discoveries" lists, which was mostly excellent indie movies that need attention from Sarah, and a some old/some new list from Carrie. All in all, it was quite a year but we watched some amazing things, cooked some delicious food, and wish you all a happy new year!!

Halloween is approaching, and we're getting Scream 5 next year, so it's the perfect time to revisit Scream! Sarah and Carrie discuss the modern classic with the absolutely iconic Jiffy Pop, way more chips than we remember (although with chip callbacks, we approve), strawberry ice cream cone, a bag of grapes for 5 teenagers to eat at lunch, kitchen utensils - and appliances - as weapons, and more!
