Easter at Fielder - Experiencing the Resurrection - Jason Paredes 19.04.2022 25:54
We struggle to let the resurrection be more than a mental assent to a hard truth, and thus we do not experience the felt power of the resurrection in our lives. The resurrection is not just an event to believe but a miracle to experience. God is still in the resurrection business, resurrecting lives today. Until we believe this in our hearts and claim it as our own, we will never experience the ta...
Like Jesus - Palm Sunday - Jason Paredes 11.04.2022 40:47
At Fielder Church, we inhale and exhale the gospel and make disciples who do the same. God has given us a 10-year vision - a glimpse of where we believe the Lord has called us to go as a church. As you learn about our church, we pray you’ll find your place in our church’s story. You were put on this planet for a reason, and we want to help you discover that reason. We pray God inspires you to join...
Like Jesus - Jesus Served Everyone But Himself - Jason Paredes 05.04.2022 39:14
We live lives centered on ourselves. We say we love God, but that love usually lasts until it requires us to put other people first. Because of our selfishness we fail to love others sacrificially and by consequence, we fail to love God in the way that He wants us to do it, by loving others. When we understand how Jesus gave himself for us, we can begin to understand how to give ourselves to other...
Like Jesus - Overwhelming Grace and Just Enough Truth - Jim Parks 21.03.2022 33:00
Relationships in life can be destroyed because they lack a balance between grace and truth. We see this most in peer, parental, and professional relationships. Jesus led with overwhelming grace and just enough truth. We need to learn how to do this because God has called us to proclaim the message of the gospel, which is the best example of this characteristic.

Like Jesus - Jesus Pursued the Poor, Sick, and Marginalized - Tony Avilés 07.03.2022 37:47
We think we need to be great preparation, knowledge, and training before we can join Jesus on his mission. Jesus doesn’t train us to send us out. He sends us out in order to train us. Belief in the gospel empowers us to understand that Jesus sends us out with the Power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish things that only He can do. He saves us to send us!
Like Jesus - Jesus Prepared People by Sending Them Out Unprepared - Matt Hunter 01.03.2022 41:57

Like Jesus - Jesus Made His Relationship with the Father His Priority - Jason Paredes 21.02.2022 41:30
We prioritize others things in our life other than prayer – our fuel for our relationship with the Father – because we aren’t desperate enough for what He could do in our lives. And we don’t know all that we are missing. Christ died to give us access to the Father, and nothing else in the world matters more than leveraging that access through prayer. When we are desperate enough, we’ll follow the...
Like Jesus - Why Jesus Hated Hypocrisy - Jason Paredes 14.02.2022 36:55
Far too often we talk a good talk but walk such a poor walk in matters of faith. That is hypocrisy, and it sets us up as enemies of God. For Jesus, talk was cheap. He wanted to see righteous talk convert into righteous action. And even more than that, he wanted to see righteous action flow from a righteous heart. But until our hearts are redeemed by Christ, hypocrisy will always be our story.
Like Jesus - Why Jesus Invested Deeply In Very Few - Jason Paredes 07.02.2022 36:10
We can waste our lives trying to change people who will never change. We don’t have the power to change anyone. We can only invest in those empowered by Christ to change. Often times less is more. Jesus taught us to invest our lives deeply in the most spiritually sensitive around us. That’s the ingredient that will change the world.
Like Jesus - Jesus’ Ministry of Teaching, Preaching, & Healing - Gary Smith 31.01.2022 36:23
We reserve teaching, preaching, and healing for the professionals or for those who have received formal education. We think we have a lane to run in, and that is our job or area of profession. We dismiss adopting this characteristic in our life as if it is an option, when it is actually the call of every believer regardless of gifting, profession, or level of education. Belief in the gospel allows...
Like Jesus - Celebrating the Collision of Humility and Faith - Jason Paredes 24.01.2022 40:23
Our pride keeps us trusting in ourselves instead of Christ, and because of it we don’t experience the supernatural power of God. When we recognize our frailty and brokenness, humble ourselves before Christ, and seek his help by faith, he shows us his infinite power and outstanding love because he delights in humble faith.
Like Jesus - Leveraging Everything for Eternity - Jason Paredes 17.01.2022 39:42
We waste too much time leveraging our lives for temporary securities, but that is utter foolishness in light of eternity. Christ called his followers to leverage all that they had for eternal rewards and then showed them what it looked like to live that way. When we follow his example, we reap eternal treasure.
Like Jesus - Reframing our Understanding of Jesus - Jason Paredes 11.01.2022 37:05
We tend to align our character with the world instead of with Christ and so we miss our opportunity to change the world as he did. Christ redefined righteousness by an otherworldly ethic, one that ultimately sent him to the cross. When we align with Jesus, we find the resurrection power to change the world.

Joy - Our Souls Can Only Ever Be Satisfied in God - Jason Paredes 21.12.2021 36:12
How much time do we waste on things that promise way more than they can deliver? You can fill in the blank with whatever it is you are hoping will make you happy, but it will not and cannot satisfy you. The things that promise to satisfy us on this earth often only make us hungrier for something greater, something that can actually satisfy us. You will never find joy until you find what can genuin...
Joy - How to Have Joy in the Midst of Difficult Circumstance - Gary Smith 14.12.2021 36:17
We tend to only consider ourselves in the midst of difficult circumstances. This makes experiencing true joy impossible. We search for joy outwardly in other things rather that upward from our Father in heaven. We run our lives into destruction looking for joy in all the wrong places. The gospel reminds us to consider Jesus, who considered it a joy to go the cross for us. When we remember what Jes...
