What keeps you going when life gets challenging? We look to Jesus' Glory and see our need to behold Him preeminently, attentively and assuredly.

The Church is built on a confessed faith, is guaranteed a certain future, and will prevail against a conquered foe.

There are two primary dangers threatening our faith: spiritual deception and spiritual dullness. Jesus calls us to heed his warnings and compels us to be on guard.

Our Lord is raised and exalted

Jesus Christ bore our sin, became our substitute, and brought our salvation.

Our suffering servant was rejected so that we might be accepted.

Isaiah 53 reminds of three things that are ultimately real: The Lord's success, the Lord's suffering, and the Lord's significance to bring hope to all believers who place their trust and faith in Him, cleansing us of our sins and making us pure.

Isaiah prophesied that a suffering servant would deliver mankind and bear the burden of sin, to atone for all iniquities and declare victory.

Faith is RECOGNIZING who Jesus is and RESPONDING to Him with the appropriate trust, surrender, obedience, and worship.

Only a pure and trusting faith in our Lord Jesus Christ will lead to true heart change and a renewed spirit. Rituals, worthless worship, and conformity to customs will serve to distract and derail our lives, hindering the restoration of our relationship with God. Only a pure heart, dedicated entirely to Christ, will lead us to glorify and worship our Savior.

The water walking Savior meets us in the storm, speaks to us from the storm, strengthens our faith through the storm, and reveals Himself to us through the storm.

Are we more satisfied in the world or in Jesus Christ, our shepherd, provider, and savior?

Jesus calls us to reject unbelief for real faith in Him.

While we as believers live in this world, we are called to not conform to it and its earthly affections, but to dwell in Christ, and the eternal assurance the Kingdom of heaven provides.

We are called to examine our heart conditions so he we can hear, listen to, and respond faithfully to Jesus Christ's teachings.

How do we become godly and content and what do we gain by pursuing these virtues?

Jesus made it clear to his generation that He had come to be a greater priest, prophet, king, and brother than anything they had ever experienced before. The question is, who is Jesus to our generation?

Why do we worry? When we do worry, where do we turn? Jesus teaches on worry and how the believer is not to be "anxious about anything".

The Christian in this world must retain his saltiness: to live above reproach, speak against evil, and stand for good. Our call is to demonstrate and live out the gospel.

To see God, our hearts must be purified and to be seen as a child of God, having and resting in the peace of God is essential. As believers, our call is to live in purity and peaceably.

To live out a life blessed by God, our conduct must reflect several characteristics indicative of those that are righteous heirs of the Kingdom of God.

As followers of Christ, the source, pathway to, and experience of happiness in our spiritual walk are all contrary to the worldly and commonly accepted definition of the word.
