As tiny newborns no one asked our opinions as they were deciding our families and futures so why then are adoptees the ones who have to protect the feelings of all the ‘adults’ involved in the process? Seems a little backwards to me. In my opinion it’s time we release the guilt and allow ourselves to have curiosity about who we are and where we came from.
