The FAMU Volleyball team opened the season with a Victory at Home against The University of West Florida and the Florida weather got the best of FAMU’s FAN Day.   But Wannish Way Willie had drip for sale to take your mind off of that.

Football, Volleyball & Cross-country season are about to start.   I have talked about each game and let us do a recap before the season starts to find what our final prediction will be.   We also have fan day this have Fan Day & the Grape Harvest on Saturday.  Also one of the greatest Rattlers in FAMU history is a finalist for the NFL Hall of Fame.

Florida A&M University finishes the regular season by playing against Bethune-Cookman in Orlando. This game is a benefit huge for both the universities and the city of Orlando and the prevailing question is if the universities could get a bigger piece of the economic pie.   Beyond that is the game outcome. Fan Day will soon be happening on the Highest of Seven Hill, this event allows those in the community to meet the players associated with the program.   Along with this event the Annual Grape harvest will be taking place.   Also what about this Alabama State game & Bragg Needs to be expanded to Seats for the future.

FAMU Football had its first scrimmage of the season leaving the coaches and fans looking for growth from the previous season.   This will also be a preview of the Southern University game which could be one of the best games to attend this season; especially considering the cost of hotels for homecoming.

FAMU lost the voice of the Rattlers this week and I take a moment to celebrate him. Also FAMU gets a baseball commit, the basketball camp fills up, women’s basketball offers a student and I preview homecoming. Also we go inside the den to talk about what social media has been able to do for FAMU Athletics.

The Rumor mill rolls and in this past week FAMU has lost another coach.  The Need for an athletic director is becoming more paramount as time passes and as we lose another coach.   Also FAMU recruiting has been hot with commitments and the SCSU game has to be talked about.

Coach Sapp a graduate of Bethune-Cookman University is on the show to share some of his knowledge.   Sapp has been a Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator & Position Coach.   Currently Coach Sapp is an Assistant Coach at Dr. Phillips High & Trains the next generation of great Offensive lineman.

FAMU is losing its Golf Coach to Prairie View A&M which is another coach leaving the Highest of Seven Hills. Which hints at a problem within the program, also I will preview the Mississippi Valley State Game.   Lastly we will talk a bit about what I took away from SWAC Media Day (I Watched it on TV like you this year) and the need for a SWAC Network.

The Florida A&M University football program has a talented defensive backfield and some newcomers who are very likely to turn some heads this season. Florida A&M University has one of the best DB’s rooms in the SWAC going into next season. Players like BJ Bohler have the fan base excited for next season. FAMU also has been extremely active in recruiting across multiple sports, these efforts have led to athletes committing to the program and I will share some of those athletes who have recently committed.

Linebacker may be the of the deepest positions on the Florida A&M University roster and you should know who the thumpers on the roster are. I talk about those who play this position and preview the Jackson State game.
