Faithful Not Flawless

Have you ever sat in the mirror and really looked at the reflection back at you? Jesus loves that face. Your worth and identity is in Him. You are more than the crumbs life gives. Don't compare. We are made in the image of God, and we are more than enough through Christ Jesus.

Something we can all relate to.... scars. We all have them. Some of us carry them emotionally, physically or mentally. Jesus understands our scars; He chose to keep His to remind us that there is healing for our scars through Him.

Have you ever found yourself in a series of pivoting in life? Isaiah 55:8-9 says that Gods thoughts are not ours and His ways are more than we could imagine. Pivot towards His will today; make the change, follow where God is asking you to go. Pivot Away!

Have you ever been in a midnight hour of desperation? Seeking an answer from God? He is in the midnight hours, seek Him today. Jesus is the answer.

Aren't you glad that God sees our heart? The many layers of our lives? The layers that most people don't get to see or don't take the time to see. Your Heart Matters to God!

Are you going through a time of crisis? Feeling as if things around you are not going as you thought they would? In 2 Kings, a Shunammite woman lost her son; she responded that all was well as she sought the Lord to save him. What situation in your life are you needing to speak that it is well? He is the well.

God loves everything about you, even the little things. The things that we see as insignificant, God sees as His perfect creation. Just as the mustard seed is small and grows to be a beautiful tree; let your little things grow beautifully.

Have you ever felt like you are in a testing season? Someone on that last nerve? Jesus spent 40 days being tested by Satan; and years of being tested by religious leaders. He gave us perfect examples of quoting scriptures during the testing. Give the test to Him; He is the World Guide.

It's not what goes into your mouth that defiles us, it's what comes out of it. Words come from the heart, as a fountain that overflows, so the tongue speaks. Be a reflection of who God is, speak life.

Jesus prays for us-for the times when we are being sifted, those refining moments. Job and Simon Peter were sifted and tested. One was resilient in faith and one failed. One came back stronger through the sifting after the failure. If you feel like your failing, get your come back on!

Praise isn't always easy; sometimes it comes at a cost. But when we demonstrate our worship to God, He sees your heart. Clap your hands, delight in the Lord. Let Him work you through your circumstance, instantaneous or not.

Hannah prayed for a child and followed through with her promise to give her child back to God. She didn't do take backs. God used Samuel mightily through Hannah's faithfulness. Trust God, keep your promises to Him; He has good plans for us!

Do you ever feel like you're not enough for what God is calling you to do? That's Gods favorite thing to do-prove that you are! He loves to call us to demonstrate His divine purpose. Let Him talk to you today-consider it a professional day.

Have you ever experienced fear? Most of us would say yes. Did you know that the Bible gives us a passage about how to deal with fear for every day of the year? God doesn't give us the spirit of fear; He gives us a sound mind. Ask Him to be your peace, to demonstrate His power when you are experiencing fear.

HE is RISEN! He has taken the path of the cross to cover our sins and He is no longer dead but ALIVE! Walk with us down the path of the Easter story, the real story of Jesus.

The paralyzed man had 4 friends that were willing to make a way to get their friend to Jesus. They had to tear off the roof to get their friend there. Grab your friends, share your need; and tear off the roof.

Have you believed something about yourself that isn't true? That your unworthy or unlovable? Be careful with how you align yourself into agreements. Do they align with what He says about you? You are loved, you are of a Royal Priesthood, you are worthy through His Son. Align yourself today with His word.

Are you in a season of threshing? As if the rolling stone is over you in this season of your life? God uses the threshing floor in our lives to reveal Himself to us; to refine us in His perfect will. Let Him sift you to be what He created you to be.

Have you ever believed a lie that someone has said about you? Others do not see what God says about you and sees in you. The world reminded Rahab that she was a prostitute; God called her Grandmother to the Messiah. The world told Sarah she was barren and could not have children; God said she would be the mother of a nation. Find your truth in the word of God; seek who He says you are!

Are you roots thriving or do they need to be fed? Each one of us have roots, but it is up to us to decide how deep in Christ they go. Are we daily feeding our roots with His word? Or have our roots become shallow? Will you allow Him to extend your roots and let them grow in Him.

Have you ever found yourself saying, God please don't give up on me? King David felt that same way, he knew what it was like to be faithful not flawless. It is a daily choice to choose God. Choose Him today.

Have you ever gotten on a wrong path? God trying to get your attention? God got Balaam's attention by using a donkey. Take a moment and hear what God is trying to tell you. Don't wait for the donkey.

Have you ever found yourself in an impossible situation or at a dead end? Looking for a way out? We find in the book of Exodus that God helped others find a way out. Let Him be your way out today.

Have you felt as if the hard time you are going through just never is going to end? God doesn't promise that we won't got through hard times; however, He does promise that He will never leave us or forsake us. Let God be with you today in your hard time, let His peace cover you.
