Faithful Not Flawless

Moses held up the staff of God for the Israelites during battle. As his hands grew tired, his friend and brother helped to raise his arms to ensure a victory. The battle we face is God's; gather your friends, the prayer warriors. Ask them to help raise your arms-let them join in the battle. The glory is the Lords.

We teach self-reliance in the world we live in today. God's word teaches us dependency. His word is everlasting and steadfast. Yahweh does not disappoint. Entwine your heart with His, then you will know Him to be true.

God went with Moses and told him that He would give him rest. God rested on the 7th day of creation. How important it is to rest in worship to Him! The creator. Find rest in worship with Him today, let Him renew and restore you. May His presence be a moment of saturation for you.

Do you battle with negative thoughts? Do those thoughts evade during your day? We encourage you to take those negative thoughts captive and allow Jesus to renew your mind!

Join us as we focus on the real reason for the season: Christ. The armies of heaven appeared, lighting up the sky as they sang the praises of the precious Savior's birth. What a birth announcement! It is Christ mas Time.

Have you felt unseen or unheard at times? Hagar sat in the wilderness, feeling alone, unseen. But God heard her cry and changed the trajectory of her life. Hagar said it best, "You are the God who sees me." Just like Hagar, God sees you where you are today.

God called just a man, just a woman, just a tax collector, the list goes on and on of whom God called. God uses the "just," He loves to show Himself through us. HE calls you chosen, a royal priesthood, just as you are.

Have you ever had someone that you were angry with or perhaps weren't your favorite? Jonah felt something similar with the people of Ninevah. God demonstrated his mercy to Jonah, the mariners and Ninevah, despite Jonah's feelings. His mercy is not based upon our feelings; He loves us all.

It's the time of the year, or is it? Thankfulness is a lifestyle; changing how we communicate and show our gratitude regularly. We encourage you today to find something to be grateful for!

Have you ever had to pray for someone who wasn't kind to you? Who just seemed to make things hard for you? It can be so hard, but pray for them. You may be the only one who is standing in the gap for that person. As difficult as it is, we never truly know a person's situation or what they are facing. So may God strengthen us and help us to truly pray for one another.

Have you ever found yourself marching around an impossible wall? The Israelites did as well, but God took their marching and the impossible wall and turned it into a victory! Don't give up, keep marching and watch what God will do for you. Get ready to get your shout on!

Divine grace, none of us deserve it but we all need it. Not one of us are flawless, but His grace covers us. Will you let His divine grace cover you today?

When going through different seasons of life, God helps to prepare for each one. He often sends people to be His messengers to meet a need. Be attentive to the Holy Spirit-He will guide you in and out of season.

Adversity-whew! None of us like it but how do you face it? Will we be like Job's wife saying to curse God or will we be like Job and praise God through our adversity? God reminded Job that He is sovereign. Trust God's sovereignty to see you through.

Have you ever found yourself fixated on a situation? Feeling alone? God showed Elijah that He is there even in the whisper. Find Him in the whisper today.

What if we reached for our Bible as much as we do for our phones? Are you a mindless scroller? It's a safe place here, we are guilty too! Colossians tells us to set our minds on things above instead of focusing upon this world. Be intentional when you catch yourself mindless scrolling, instead root yourself into the word of God.

We access so many things, usually things that are important to us. What are you accessing today? Are you accessing our Creator? What has God been trying to access in your life? Make intentional time with Him today, allow yourself to give Him access.

Have you ever felt so busy, like you are just doing ALL the things? Jesus never intended for us to be distracted by all the busyness. May we be like Mary, and take time from ALL the things, to sit at the feet of Jesus. Lord, may we take time with you and remember what's really important.

Do you ever find yourself dismissing the little and mundane things? Did you know that God can use those things? God used Mary, the mother of John Mark, along with her faith and hospitality to further His church. Do not sell yourself short, but let God use your faith to grow His Kingdom.

Many have felt imprisoned to sin, such as Mary Magdalene. Then one day, Mary met the prison breaker, the One with All Authority: Jesus. Don't look for Him at the tomb; He isn't there. He is Risen and Reigns Forever!

Are you in a moment of character building? Whew! It's a hard one. As many people in the Bible whose character was tested, Joseph was certainly on one of them. Sold into slavery by his brothers, imprisoned falsely to become an overseer of Egypt and save his family. The development of character does not always come quickly; but God has a perfect plan for you! Let Him help develop you.

Have you ever found yourself stuck in the mud of life? Feeling like there was no way out but the way you came? The Prodigal Son came back home expecting a life of a servant after wasting his inheritance; instead, he found a celebration upon his return. God wants to celebrate you and wash you clean of the mud.

Intentional Quietness, choosing to have those tender, quiet moments with God. Taking away the distractions, staying open to what God wants to reveal to you. Practice intentional quietness with God-open yourself to what He is trying to say to you and just be still.

Luke 12:34 says, for where your treasure is, that's where your heart will be. Do you like treasure hunts? God does too! Did you know that God sees you as His treasure? He does! Let Him show you how precious you are to Him today.

Did you know that God is a Master Designer? He created the Heavens, and they declare His glory; He created you. Be sure to ask Him to show you how you look from His designer's eyes. You will be amazed.
