Today, we’re going to pull it all together and talk about how you move from just struggling to standing …into actually walking strong in who you are in Christ.

You’re not just trying to have a good day. You ’re learning to fight the right battle with the right weapons. Today, I want to put some actual tools in your hands. Not theory. Not clichés or fancy sayings or slogans. Tools! Because God has not left you weaponless in this fight!

Today, I want to talk about a war most of us never admit we’re fighting: The war you can’t post about. The inward battle. The secret stuff. The things that don’t show up in your Instagram story, but they show up in your thought life. The things nobody at church knows about, but they ride around with you all day. That ’s where freedom really starts.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve had thisthought before:“Okay… I feel God in my secret place. I feel Him on Sunday. But why do I feel so ordinary…so stuck…so tempted…on Monday?”You’re in worship, tears flowing, hands lifted,you’re like, “This is it. God is real. I’m changed.” And then Monday shows up And you start wondering “Did that even work? Was that real? Or was I just emotional?” If you’ve...

We’ve talked about the secret place, hearing God’s voice, and obeying in the ordinary. Today we’re going to talk about something that can slowly choke all of that: ashes on the altar—weights and sins that we never deal with. Some of us love God, but we feel like our fire is low. Many times it’s not because God stopped giving flame—it’s because we’ve stopped clearing the ashes.

Today we’re going to get into something that’s not flashy, but it’s where most of your power will be found: ordinary obedience. Most of us want the dramatic moments—the Red Sea splitting, walking on water, calling down fire. But the truth is, the majority of your power in the Spirit is released through simple, everyday “yes, Lord” decisions.

A lot of believers don’t struggle with God speaking. They struggle with knowing, “Is that really God, or is that just me?” Yesterday we talked about the secret place being more than a location—it’s a relationship with a Person. Today we’re going to talk about how that Person speaks.  Because you cannot obey a voice you don’t recognize.

That’s fine—but if you stop there, you’ll only ever visit. God is inviting you not just to visit a room, but to dwell with a Person.

We’ve been talking all week about adding fuel—bringing wood: your attention, time, trust, the Word, worship, surrender. But there’s another part of tending the fire we can’t ignore: removing the ashes.

In the New Testament, the altar is you: Your heart, Your thoughts, Your body, Your decisions and Your secret life when nobody’s watching/ So when we talk about the “secret place,” we’re not just talking about a prayer closet. We’re talking about a private altar where the real you meets the real God.

So far we’ve talked about:  The supernatural as normal Christianity, Seeing with faith, And obeying the Holy Spirit’s nudges. Today, in Episode 4, we’re going to be honest about the things inside us that resist all of this— doubt, fear, and disappointment.

In our walks with the Lord it is important to follow the nudges of the Holy Spirit. This podcast discusses that in everyday practical terms to help you understand that there is power in obedience to the leadings of the Holy Spirit.

On our journey through everyday life, it is the perspective that we have that determines our victory or defeat. So don't look at the situation, look at the God who is bigger than the situation. See your situation through the eyes of heaven.

All week we’ve been building something: Today we’re going to bring it together and talk about what it looks like to walk this out. “Power in Every Step.” Not just power at the altar on Sunday, but power in your Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. In your home, your job, your inner life.
