Sue and Kendra talked with Deirdre Budzyna, an acting coach, theater director, and college professor. Deirdre’s daughter Maggie founded the Performing Project in 2012. For the past 11 years, they have been providing a free two-week immersive theater program to more than 60 students in the city of Lawrence. Over 500 residents attend the performance each year free of charge.
