Ruby Virginia Frisby and Pleas George Ball "Junior" met when she was 13 years old and working on the Nuttle Cattle Ranch. Their romance bloomed through letters the couple wrote to each other beginning in 1940 and continued during WWII while Junior was stationed in the South Pacific, and Virginia worked as a Rosie the Riveter for Boeing in Wichita, Kansas. This is their story.
