Jesus is the light of men. This light can be rejected or believed in. Those who believe are made children of God. As believers who have experienced the life and light of Jesus, we are called to witness about that light so that all may believe.

Jesus is the source of all life. That life became flesh and dwelt among us. Christmas reminds us that in these troubled times, He came near to bring you life, and to sustain and uphold you.

Jesus is the logos - was in the beginning, was with God, was God, and dwelt among us in the flesh. Emphasis is on Jesus being Lord and creator, supreme and pre-eminent. The response is much awe and hope in this "baby on a manger" who we celebrate this Christmas.

Canon can be generally described as the collection of books, which form the original and authoritative written rule of the faith and practice of the Christian Church, i.e. the Old and New Testaments. The word canon, in classical Greek, is properly a straight rod, "a rule" in the widest sense.

Inerrancy means the unerring quality of Bible; free from error. What the Bible says regarding matters of faith and Christian practice is wholly useful and true.

The Bible is necessary for knowing the gospel, for maintaining spiritual life, and for knowing God’s will.
