While it might not have looked like a good or decent romance comedy from the marketing, but believe me when I say that Anyone But You is not one of the bigger surprises of last year but a great sign that the romcom genre is making a comeback. #AnyoneButYou #GlenPowell #SydneySweeney Sypnosis Despite an amazing first date, Bea and Ben's initial attraction quickly turns sour. However, when they...

GI Joe Retaliation is the 2013 sequel/soft reboot to 2009's GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra and this is a movie that I've had a conflicting relationship with since it's release but over the years, I've grown to accept it for what it is. In this review, ff39480 Reviews gives you his thoughts on this flawed but enjoyable sequel. #GIJoeRetaliation In the continuing adventures of the G.I. Joe team, Duke (Ch...

After a small delay in between November and March, Denis Villenueve takes us back to the world of Arrakis, originated from Frank Herbert's novels with his second part to his beloved Dune movie and the second of this now planned trilogy. Aside from a few gripes, this is a reminder of why I love sci-fi and fantasy as genres and yet a masterclass of filmmaking. #DunePart2 #TimotheeChalamet #Rebec...

With the release of the 2020 Denis Villenueve's two-part interpretation of Frank Herbert's respected novel coming out in December (hopefully), I decided to take a look at the previous versions of Dune and see how they hold up. The Punisher: One Last Kill sees the return of Jon Bernthal's interpretation of the character that we last saw in 2019 with Season 2 of his show and while there's some room for improvement in the future, this is a welcoming return for The Punisher and hopefully a sight of potential for him in the new MCU mature rated era. Let's discuss my thoughts on this one. TIMECODES 0:00 - Introduc...

Wonder Man was a show thar had some intrigue to it for me, but also concerned me due to the MCU shows being very up and down and due to a lack of marketing here. This also had the potential to be one of the biggest jokes in terms of new characters for the MCU considering the controversy with the casting and such. Surprisingly, this was actually a lot better than what I expected even if it isn’t on...

Braveheart has stood out over the past 31 years as being one of the best historical epics in the film genre and one of the best films in the genre. It’s also has been regarded as one of the most divided films now because of the Best Picture Oscar win it has gotten, but also has gotten controversy for its historical innacuraccies. For my personal thoughts , this has been one of the many movies that...

Christy was a movie that I had some intrigue in watching, not only to know about the life and career of Christy Martin, but also who was in charge of directing and to see Sydney Sweeney take on a different project other than her usual role. Unfortunately, the movie not only was a victim of being a box office bomb but also shut out any Oscar controversy for its main actress and unfair controversies...

The recent trilogy of the Strangers films has wrapped up this and I figured that even though I have reviewed these films before individually, we yet again do another review compilation for newcomers and for fun as well, that way people can watch either in this compilation or individually in the links below. So enjoy the compilation as I express full length and in detail about how disappointing the...

Before the release of the next DCU film in the case of Craig Gillespie's "Supergirl", which is a spin-off and follow up to this film, I figured we'd do a live movie watch-along/commentary for the first overall film in the new DC Universe that just got released last summer, James Gunn's "Superman" and see how it holds up and also to prepare for Supergirl. #Superman20...

After 7 years since his introduction in “Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse”, Spider Noir makes his live action debut appearance in the ever growing Spiderman/Spiderverse franchise in the first season of Spider-Noir and this had a lot to offer from Nicolas Cage’s performances to the visual spectacle. And this had me very interested in it for the most part despite a few concerns with this, but we’re...
