The right spiritual position for Christians is a synergy of Confidence and Brokenness. We must be confident in our identity, calling, and authority, and yet remain conscious of our weakness and complete dependence on God. Regular encounters with Jesus are essential to maintain this powerful combination.

So many people think that becoming a Christian means obeying rules and proving yourself to God; a fury of effort to somehow make yourself worthy of salvation, but Jesus is saying, “Sit down, be still, and let me wash your feet.” The foundation of Christianity is not what we do for Him but what He has done for us.

Jesus is worth more than anything in this world. In fact, He is worth more than everything in this world, and those who see Him for who He really is are willing to trade everything to have Him in their lives.

There is a movement in the world to destroy people by any means necessary simply because they have a different opinion or because they have done something you find offensive. Should you and I as believers participate in Cancel Culture?

As Christians we are royal subjects under the protection and authority of King Jesus, but what does that mean? How do we live our lives as subjects to King Jesus, and how do we distinguish ourselves in the world?

Who is Jesus to you? Many Christians sees Jesus only as Savior- someone who exists to help them, but Jesus is more than a Savior. He is the only One worthy to sit on the throne of your life. If you want to go from barely surviving to changing your world, you must have a revelation of Jesus as the only Sovereign, Ruler, and King!

If you stood totally exposed with all you’ve done laid out for all to see, would you hold your head high or hang your head in shame? Don’t let your sins define you, Jesus has the power to separate you from your sin and remove your shame.

Sometimes, God will break you down in order to reshape you for greater things. It is not easy. It can feel like life is falling apart. Nothing looks familiar and things are changing rapidly. It can be painful and fill you with fear, but if you trust God, He will bring you to a new level of purpose and productivity.

Yes, it was Jesus’ first public miracle, and yes, it truly happened, but the story is not really about the liquid water or the liquid wine.

What’s been planted in your heart is what will grow in your life. If you're not intentional about what you plant in your life, then the world will plant spiritual weeds.
