Jesus was empowered by the Holy Spirit to accomplish His mission an Earth. You and I are now the body of Christ and we will need the same supernatural power upon us if we are to accomplish the mission God has for us.

Something is not right in the world. There is evil, injustice, sickness, sorrow, and death, and it seems there is nothing we can do about it. Where is our hope? Who will save us?

A life of purpose on Earth is all about representing God to the people in your world, but you must understand the people you are reaching. You can only help them if you know what they truly need.

There were only a handful of people who came to worship Baby Jesus. The rest of the world missed it. They had no idea that the Savior of the world had come because they had no revelation from God. If you’re ever going to really know Jesus, you need the Spirit to reveal Him to you.

2020 has been a difficult year. There are many who have lost jobs, possessions, opportunities, and even people. How do you live after loss? Don’t focus on what’s lost but on what’s leftover. There is life in the leftovers.

All that is wrong with the world can be traced back to sin. Sin is a disease upon mankind that we are powerless to remove on our own. God has given only one answer to the sin problem – the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus cleanses from the punishment of sin, from the guilt of sin, and from the bondage of sin. Has the blood been applied to your life?

For many people, the only thing they remember about the story of Peter walking on the water is that he took his eyes off Jesus and began to sink. But the tragedy is not that Peter took his eyes off Jesus and sank. The tragedy is that there were 11 disciples who never got out of the boat. The tragedy of life is not that you will make mistakes and fall, but that you never stepped out onto the water.

God is tired of being second place to your politics, and no, that does not mean God wants to be at the forefront of your politics. What God wants is for you to understand that sharing the love of Christ is more important than voting on the laws of men.

The storms of life will not stop raging. The world will be in chaos until Jesus comes. But God’s people can find refuge, peace, and hope even in the midst of the chaos around us.

Everyone has a past, but for some, the pain of yesterday will not heal. The events of your past have attached themselves to you, keeping you from moving forward. Those events are long gone but the wounds are still fresh, and they still define who you are. Jesus won’t change your past, but He will change the way it has affected you

The Church of Jesus Christ is a living church. When something is alive it moves, and the church should be moving in the world as we accomplish our purpose here on Earth.

You may see Jesus as a religious leader, a philosopher, an historical figure, or even a therapist, but these perceptions only hide the truth and keep you from seeing Him for who He truly is.

If you want to be great in the eyes of the world, exalt yourself above others. If you want to be great in the eyes of God, take the posture of a servant.
