Rob Snasdell-Taylor has been a part of the Ottawa music scene since the 90's. Now in his forth decade as a active musician. He currently plays is Ottawa bands Slo' Tom and The Handsome Devils and Tin Constellations.

Chris Landry is a local singer/songwriter/musician. Chris and his band Chris Landry and the Sea Sick Mommas have been a staple in the Ottawa music scene for years. Chris returns to E&V for the first time since the pandemic to discuss music, life and his disagreement with time. 

Jesse Brewer of The Fly Downs spens some time talking about the band, his recent signing to 1000 Island Records and whats been up the last 2yrs.

Jen Traplin is a mother, freelance writer, and has been an announcer on LiVE 88.5 FM since the station’s inception in 2005. Sometimes awkward and sarcastic, she likes cats and Tom Hanks. 

Jordon Zadorozny is a Canadian rock musician and producer. He is the singer and songwriter for indie rock band Blinker the Star. He is best known for cowriting songs with Courtney Love in the late 1990s. Zadorozny has also appeared on recordings by Melissa Auf der Maur, Sam Roberts, Tara Slone and Mandy Moore. 

We kick off Ep #81 with some important words from Councilor Matt Luloff. Jason Watts returns to Ego & Vice and talks about his full schedule as Dad, teacher and musician. 

Ego & Vice returns for Season 5. After some catch up, I have a great conversation with my ol' pal Doug Hempstead. We discuss writing and recording music and finding enough time for everything else  

Another Halloween cancelled because of Covid. Well that won't stop us from having some ghoulish cheer! We almost made it to NY, quitting smoking and scary movies. 

E&V finally has a guest. It has been a long 19mths or so but it feel like things are getting back on track. Steve Sommer from local band Holy Hi-Fi drops in to South Hood Studio and we are so glad to have him. Great things to come. Thank you so much for sticking with E&V though the dark times...

Quittin smoking, drinking and careers. Amazing how life changes overnight. Hands you riches or rewards you with a firm kick in the ass. Either way...on to bigger and better things...

After a month off doing stuff E&V is back on track. Attending the first show at a bar post pandemic, birthdays and old friends who turn out to be dicks. Its a complete and total barf-o-rama

Vaxxed and buggered. As the world comes back around we try and fit back in. 

Working 9 to 10 sucks, patios are expensive as I remember and its time to "get busy living...or get busy dying ..yah yah...we've all seen the movie. But you really are "God Damn right" Ego & Vice will be returning to is original formate of local Music, business and Arts very soon and The Ohio & Irish Show will rise again....just need to find the motivation....

Another lockdown lifted, homeless pets, Uber adventures, moving into the woods...what could go wrong? 

Lots to talk about. Got busy and missed a few podcasts...what else is new. Good to be back. 

I don't know if its isolation or just natural progression but Mr Grumpy pants keeps ruining everyones day. Another week in the life...

Lockdown fever take 3. Remember when we all had friends and enjoyed being around other people? Yeah...we don't either. At least i haven't eaten human flesh yet,,,,
