After Mike makes an announcement about episode 200, he and Des review five comic books slated for release this week: The Darkness #2, Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four #32, Spider-Man: With Great Power... #1, What If? Spider-Man vs. Wolverine and Witchblade #114.

Mike rants about the way the media handled Heath Ledger's death, Jenny reveals her sexy side and together they review the Skinwalkers DVD.

This week Des and Mike review two indy comic books (Afterburn #1 by Red 5 Comics, and Salem #0 from BOOM! Studios) as well as three Marvel books (Ultimate Fantastic Four #50, Ultimate Iron Man II #2 and World War Hulk Aftersmash: Damage Control #1).

Ian Wilson looks back at the comic book movies of 2007, and then looks forward to what's forthcoming in 2008. Before that, however, Mike lets loose the strangest rant yet, Jenny mourns her puppy-less household and Mike confirms that plans have been set in motion for episode 200.

On an almost weekly basis, they've told you what comic books to buy, borrow, flip through and skip, but now Desmond Reddick and Michael David Sims take it one step further. In this installment of the Is It Wednesday Yet? segment of Earth-2.net: The Show, they shine a very bright light on the best comic books, creators and publishers of 2007!

For the second show in a row Jenny rants! This time it wasn't the ill treatment of puppies that drew her ire; instead it was... well, telling would spoil the fun. Later the duo dissects the January Previews, but before all that they answer an e-mail concerning their recent I Am Legend discussion.

It's the first show of the new year! First Jenny and Mike discuss Christmas, then Jenny rants about how people treat their dogs. Following that, the duo reviews I Am Legend - the book by Richard Matheson and the movie starring Will Smith. One is loved, the other... not so much.

It isn't often that Des and Mike agree on most of the books they review on the Is It Wednesday Yet? segment, but this is one of those weeks. Only one book had them at different ends of the spectrum. Was it Fantastic Four: Isla de la Muerte, Hulk vs. Fin Fan Foom, Marvel Illustrated: The Picture of Dorian Gray #1, X-Men: First Class #7 or The Zombie: Simon Garth #2?

Movie trailers, the mess that is Spider-Man: One More Day, two errors in Mighty Avengers #6, stolen bras and video game systems, a bomb scare and The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters are all discussed by Jenny and Mike.

Of the five comics Des and Mike reviewed this week (Foundation #1, The Incredible Hulk #112, Marvel Holiday Special 2007, Marvel Illustrated: The Iliad #1 and Wolverine: Origins #20), one was a surprise hit and another was ruined by the lettering. For six months Desmond Reddick and Michael David Sims have examined DC's weekly series Countdown. Overall, their feelings about the series have been less than enthusiastic. Despite having been disappointed, they swore to trudge forward, hoping Countdown would get better as the series crossed into the final 26 issues. Of the five comics Des and Mike reviewed this week (Astonishing X-Men #23, Marvel Adventures Spider-Man #33, Ms. Marvel #21, Mystic Arcana: Sister Grimm and Silver Surfer: In Thy Name #1), they greatly disagreed on two. In fact, in response to Mike's love for one of the comics, Des said, "I'm shocked this book isn't cancelled yet." Ouch!

As they review Saw IV, Jenny and Mike explore the two major plot holes in the film, but they aren't what you think.
