Duke Reacts!

Lost banger from Buss a Buss off the 2001 classic Genesis, featuring a fire hook and verse from Kelis.

Archived reaction from April 2022. Lost classic from the 70s, this is an obscure gem about making love. Enjoy

Archived reaction from February 2022. Been wanting to do one of Weird Al's famous polka medleys for awhile and this one happened to have some gems that are still relevant after 16 years. Polkarama is off Weird Al's 2006 classic "Straight Outta Lynwood". Enjoy

Just like David Bowie and Iggy Pop, Lou Reed was so damn cool. This is a forgotten gem from Lou's 1989 classic New York. I'm sure he and Bowie are kickin' it somewhere, RIP Lou Reed.

Archived reaction from April 2022. Another classic from the Dan, off 1976's "The Royal Scam" with BLISTERING talk box (vocoder) solos from Walter Becker (and others).

Archived reaction from December 2021. A classic from K&P, showing what happens when a record deal falls through. I thought Jordan Peele played this perfectly.

Originally recorded in October 2020. No one outshines Busta on his own album. Not even K.Dot at the top of his game. Busta had a lot of fire he been waiting to unleash, and the album is finally here.

Look Over Your Shoulder was not the first time Kendrick and Buss A Buss collabed. This remix to Rigamortis off the Section 8 album dropped back in 2012. They both killed their verses on this, too much fire.

2002 Juno MuchMusic Awards Diddy & Busta featuring surprise guests Jamie Foxx and some very pretty ladies. Nobody got more swagger and charisma than Foxx, plus these other two monsters.

One of the early traditional music videos made in the 1970s, this was George Clinton's band Funkadelic with a BANGER. Music video filmed in NYC, Central Park and Times Square in 1973. Shout to Frank Zappa for some color commentary. Enjoy Disclaimer: The viewpoints and opinions of the FZ doll are not those of Duke Reacts! or its host.

Been hearing a lot of buzz about this kid, shout to the Orthodox community in south Florida, I rock with y'all IRL. Shout to my cousin Oliver who been down with BLP for years, this one's for him.

This was by far Weird Al Yankovic's trippiest music video, off his 1993 magnum opus ALAPALOOZA. No lawyers were harmed in the making of this MV. Enjoy DISCLAIMER: The viewpoints of Frank Zappa's doll are not those of Duke Reacts! or its host.

This was at the time the most expensive music video ever produced, 1998 classic with my man Busta Rhymes and Janet Jackson. Tried to get the new Busta but they blocked it so I'm giving y'all classic Buss.

Parody of Rihanna's Disturbia by the Detroit comedian Rucka Rucka Ali. This is the hardest I've ever laughed while doing a video. The viewpoints of Rucka Rucka Ali are NOT those of Duke Reacts! or its host. Please keep this in mind before you hit the Cancel button.

New Busta Buss is here, BlockBusta the new album out NOW. And we got an EPIC collab with DaBaby and T-Pain.

Live from the BET AWARDS 2011, this is Busta Rhymes and Alfamega featuring a guitar intro from the legend Wyclef Jean. T.I. was on this song too originally but he was in jail at the time.

I miss the old Hova, out of control Hova. Before he married Beyonce they used to call Jay-Z the God MC for a reason. Classic from Vol 2 Hard Knock Life. Jay-Z going FAST on this one, you forget he could spit like THIS.

Check out the new Netflix documentary Robbie Williams, streaming now. I forgot how crazy this video was, classic Britpop single. Enjoy

One of my favorite underappreciated albums from the 2000s is Boys & Girls In America (2006) from Brooklyn's own The Hold Steady. This is a fire music video, amazing song from that record. Enjoy

This was one of the biggest records from the year 2000, the debut album from Xzibit, produced by Dr. Dre. And yes, Snoop Dogg kinda stole the song at the end, but X came with the goods. Whether it's aged well or not, Xzibit brought the fire on this one.

Reacting to the Hold Steady's first music video, "The Swish" from their 2004 record Almost Killed Me. The song "I'm Talking To You" on my first album is based on Craig Finn's delivery on this song: https://open.spotify.com/track/3UKpkSFbGU1BEqgxeA5wMH?si=973bf043cb8b4d5c

Reaction video to the video for the Canadian band The Pursuit of Happiness and their 1988 classic "I'm An Adult Now". Lead singer Moe Berg has 4 verses of fury, plus a mandatory 1980s guitar solo. Straight up and down 🔥🔥. Thanks to Vimeo for allowing us to record video reactions with the full screen. We had a system crash while recording the first take of this, but luckily Vimeo sa...

George Clinton is described by many as one of the godfathers of modern rap. George's work with Parliament/Funkadelic influenced the likes of Snoop Dogg, Digital Underground, and Dr. Dre. One Nation Under a Groove (1979) one of George's most ambitious and weird AF albums, not an easy one to find on streaming services. This is my reaction to the title track. Let me know what you thought in t...

One of my favorite late 70s gems is "I'm Bored" by Iggy Pop from the 1979 record New Values. This is a very rare music video version, if you guys have not heard Iggy gotta check out the Stooges and his solo stuff from the 70s onward. He's still rocking harder than anybody out there to this day. There is only one Iggy, he is one of my strongest influences.

The 80s truly was an insane time in ways I can't put into words, as you'll see in every movie that takes place then. But one of the most unique earworms from this period was the Safety Dance, a song about no one letting this dude into the club because of how he dances
