This week's episodes: Lil Abaddon, Montezuma's Revenge, Lil Portal, and Tainted Azazel

Magician Lord is an okay arcade game about a transforming wizard. That's not what's important, however. What's important is that we know that 2023 will be the year of the Buff Wizard, Who May or May Not Be a Frog Man. It's imperative that we embrace and hype this early so we can make it happen. Extremely ripped wizard. Possibly a humanoid frog. Strong as hell. Lots of lightning. Lovingly rendered...

With Ranni's quest behind us, we venture into the next chapter of the game as we head up the Coward's Path to reach the Altus Plateau. Whatever one might have expected of the land at the foot of the Erdtree, it's unlikely they were imagining a war-torn, fallow, eternal autumn. We talk about the paths up to Altus, and the little sub-plateau where the perfumers and a certain familiar Sage perform th...

This finale that wasn't meant to be a finale shows us what happens when Tuco's psychotic unpredictability meets Walt's completely predictable pride. Walt and Jesse have entered into a working relationship with Tuco that requires a change in which precursor they use to make their meth, so they set about one of the most incompetent heists imaginable. Also, the world stops to hold its breath as we le...

Because this December was a weird month, content-wise, we're bringing you an extra special, patron-only presentation: our third arcade special. We talk about four arcade classics, mostly from the 80s, and do some fond reminiscing in turn. We discuss Mappy, Paperboy, Strider, and Smash TV. Thanks so much for your support, and Happy New Year!

We answer your questions! We discuss Duckstream! We read your responses! What more could you want? Support Watch Out for Fireballs!

We just missed Christmas with this episode, but that's okay, because Silent Night Deadly Night 5: The Toy Maker, has nothing to do with Christmas. Derek Quinn is a young boy traumatized by the recent death of his father, and his mother doesn't know how to help him. Simultaneously, a strange man is stalking them, and killer toys keep showing up... all seemingly related to a toy shop owner named Joe...

This week's episodes: Empty Heart, Astral Projection, C Section, and Cursed Penny.

We've spoken on the charms and pitfalls of FMV video games before, and we're happy to report that Corpse Killer falls well on the charms side. It's a dead basic lightgun game, making Terminator 2 look like Time Crisis, but it also has ridiculously over the top acting and a bonkers story. So instead of laying into it for too long, we talk about how it's driving us crazy that someone out there is tr...

This week we talk with streamer and Souls challenge runner extraordinaire, our good friend Lobos Jr. We talk about how Elden Ring is sitting with him nearly a year end, and how it compares to running previous games in the series. Then we read your responses to the Ranni/underground portion of the game.

Hello folks! We're back with another podcast, this time covering Uncanny X-Men (2011), issues 11-14. Let's dip into everyone's favorite AU and journey to the Age of Apocalypse, where we meet all sorts of familiar faces. Reminder that you can read along with and ahead of the show by subscribing to Marvel Unlimited (we don't get paid for you doing that, so it's not an ad, it's just a cool service)....

Kole, Ben, Dennis, and David talk about the games they played over Duckstream, and announce the 2022 Title of the Year. The Grind: Friday the 13th Vermintide 2 Golf With Your Friends Deep Rock Galactic Deceit

Hong Kong is revealing some deeper truths to our group of Shadowrunners, as we search for the truth about what happened to Raymond Black and try to learn what's amiss with the Walled City. We pick up in the middle section of the game, as we're taking on jobs to keep the lights on and give Auntie Cheng time to work. Shadowrun: Hong Kong continues to be a delightful short story collection of fun, ta...

You know Nick. You know Toons. But did you know they raced? Like M&Ms and pious zoo animals before them, all of your favorites like Spongebob and Daggett and Norbert hopped in little cars and went around and round. We touch on the GBC and PSX versions of the game before talking about the best clock ever made, and the portable cutoff time for when Nickelodeon stopped being good (i.e. for you).

This week's episodes: Redemption, Spirit Shackles, Cracked Orb, and Tainted Samson.

City Connection is a fun arcade maze chase that takes place in a world where everything's the same, but cars jump for some reason? So we talk about the dangers of being so competitive that you scream about Bingo, and also cap things off with a vexatious Burger King anecdote.

Ranni the Witch's questline draws to a close as we reach the top of that damned Liurnian plateau, to find out where she went, and where she plans to go. And there's other cool stuff up here, too, like one of the hardest bosses in the game: Alecto. Next up is a Roundtable episode, and then were off (or up?) to Altus to begin the next leg of the season.

Here we reach the high point of Season One of Breaking Bad, with Walt and Jesse continuing to cook so much that they have trouble moving enough product. Which would be a good problem to have if it didn't involve getting in bed with a psychopath named Tuco. Meanwhile, Hank starts sniffing around Walt's high school chemistry lab looking for his mystery cook, and ends up ruing the life of an improbab...

"Don't let perfect be the enemy of the good" month continues with the slightly worse but worthy follow up to the masterpiece Shadowrun Dragonfall. We've arrived in Hong Kong at the request of our adopted father but not all is what it seems. Please join us at patreon.com/duckfeedtv Support Watch Out for Fireballs!

Welcome to hell. This month we're talking about Elf Bowling: The Movie, sometimes subtitled "The Great North Pole Elf Strike", which is sens

This week's episodes: Options?, Candy Heart, Pound Of Flesh, and Keeper's Bargain. Also: Tune in to Duckstream on December 16-18, www.duckfeed.tv/duckstream !

First off, it's podcast malpractice that we didn't make this entire episode about the video for the KISS song "Psycho Circus". That's on us. We weren't even that distracted by the ho-hum Lithtech shooter that is KISS colon Psycho Circus colon The Nightmare Child. We just got very wrapped up in the concept of KISS itself, which basically amounts to Insane Clown Posse for boomers. This is also part...

Get out your hip waders, because we're taking the plunge into the big neon-pink stew that is the Lake of Rot. This area is a bizarre roadblock on the way to the conclusion of Ranni's quest, and there's little in the game that makes reference to what this place is. The Blind Swordsman sealed the God of Rot somewhere down here, and that's all we know. But there are fun details to talk about, from th...
