Tonight we look at a few passages from the book of Exodus, and talk about what it means for us as God's people to seek, love, and understand God.

We hear from Joseph Lewis, from the Flower Mound Church of Christ (Dallas, TX) on what it means for God to desire a relationship with us.

This week we pick back up Van Herndon's class on the book of Jude, talking about what it means to love and pray in the Spirit. 

This week we take a look at the next section of Paul's letter to the Colossians, where he talks about his ministry, why he does it, and what the church should learn from his example.

We continue our study of 2nd Peter, looking at the consequences of false teaching, and the coming judgment day.

This week we talk about the importance of knowledge and discipleship as becoming a part of the kingdom of God. Scripture reading from Hebrews 8:8-10, Deuteronomy 6:4-9, and Acts 8:37-38.

"Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church, of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known, the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints."

This week we talk about the classic passage from Ezekiel, in the Valley of Dry Bones, and talk about the transformative power of God's Word, even in "dead zones."

Colossians 1 Bible Study

We continue our lesson from this morning, talking about what it means for us to be part of Jesus' kingdom, and how we can lead people to the truth through our example.

This morning we talk about Jesus as the unexpected King of a transformed kingdom, and what it means for us as Christians to be participants in that kingdom. Scripture readings from John 18:33-37 and Matthew 20:20-28.

We pick up where we left off at the end of 1 Peter 1, and look forward to Chapter 2, and what Peter has to say about prophecy and false teachers.

Tonight in our mid-week Bible study, we reflect on some of what we've talked about so far from verses 8-14 of Colossians 1, and look at the beginning of Paul's excursus on Christ as supreme over Creation.

We begin an ongoing discussion around the topic of leadership, church governance, the roles and the qualifications of elders and deacons. Tonight we look at Acts 20 and 1 Timothy 3.

We continue talking about Transformation, looking at 2 passages: John 10:7-10 and 2 Corinthians 5:17-19.

This morning is the first half of a two-week class on Second Peter. This morning we introduce the letter, talk about the major themes, and take a look at Chapter 1.

We follow-up this morning's lesson on obedience in Joshua 6 and the battle of Jericho, by taking a look at Joshua 1:1-8 and Joshua 5:11-15. Joshua is commissioned for leadership by the Lord, and he meets a strange figure, the "Commander of the Lord's Army." 

We continue talking about Transformation, and the level of obedience that God calls us to, by looking at the example of Joshua in the battle of Jericho. From Joshua 6:1-20

Tonight we continue our study in Colossians, looking at 1:9-14. Paul talks about his prayer for the church at Colossae. (Sorry for the rough audio tonight, we are trying to work out the kinks.)

Tonight we wrap our discussion from last week, about some of the ways we can "renew our minds" (Rom 12:2) and be more Christ-like in the way we view ourselves and others. We also dive into some further observations from this morning's lesson on "A Transformed Vision," from Mark 6:30-44, the Feeding of the Five Thousand.   

This morning we continue with our theme of transformation this week, as we talk about seeing as Jesus sees. We look at Mark 6:30-44, about the feeding of the five thousand with the fishes and the loaves.

Last week we introduced Paul's letter to the church at Colossae, talked about the origin and purpose of his letter, and went over some of the major themes. Tonight we dig into the opening verses of Colossians 1.

A follow-up discussion on Romans 12:1-2, and what it means for the church to be transformed, specifically through the "renewing of our minds."

This morning we look at Romans 12:1-2, and talk about what it means for a church to be "transformed," and the conscious, intentional, effort required for us as individual Christians to represent the transformed body of Christ.
