Final Judgment Day Pt. 3 (Mt. 25:31-46) 18.10.2024

The judgment scene is described by Jesus in somewhat surprising words. He says that what we do or don't we have either done to Him or not done to Him. He will be the judge and His word will be the standard of the judgment. Those who listen to His teaching and do His word will be prepared for this day! Take a listen!

Final Judgment Day Pt. 2 (Mt. 25:14-30) 26.09.2024

Jesus in the Mt. Olivet Discourse discussed the final judgment day, "the end of the age/world" (Mt. 24:3). Jesus said that the situation at the last and final judgment will be like the situation of a man going on a journey who have his servants goods to use while he was gone. Jesus no doubt was teaching the necessity for His people to be profitable servants for Him! Take a listen!

Final Judgment Day (Matthew 25.1-13) 13.09.2024

Jesus in the Mt. Olivet Discourse discussed the final judgment day, "the end of the age/world" (Mt. 24:3). Jesus said that the situation at the last and final judgment will be like the situation of wise and foolish virgins/bridesmaids. Jesus no doubt was teaching the seriousness and reality of being prepared for His second coming. Help prepare yourself! Take a listen!

Matthew 24 & Eschatology Pt. 4 06.09.2024

In this final installment I discuss Matthew 24:35-51. Jesus begins to answer the final part of the Apostles questions on the Mt of Olives (Mt. 24:3). Is Jesus discussing the final day of time or the destruction of Jerusalem? Take a listen!

Matthew 24 & Eschatolgy Pt. 3 22.08.2024

In this episode I discuss Matthew 24:15-34. In this section of Jesus' Olivet discourse He uses language that emphatically and unmistakably sets the events described in 24:1-3 in the lifetime of the apostles! Take a listen!

Matthew 24 and Eschatology Pt. 2 15.08.2024

Matthew 24 is an often quoted and referenced chapter of the Bible in our times. In this segment I discuss Matthew 24:1-15. A very misunderstood section of Scripture. Remember, don't read A Bible verse, read the ones before it and after it! Take a listen!

Intro to Matthew 24 and Eschatology 02.08.2024

Eschatology is the stud of end times. Matthew 24:1-34 is an often quoted and referenced chapter of the Bible and erroneously taught as having its fulfillment in our time today. In this episode I lay the foundation for Matthew 24-25 by looking at Matthew 23:1-24:3. Take a listen!

10 Min Overview of Daniel 21.06.2024

Continuing in my 10 min overviews of the books of the Bible. Daniel is one of my favorite books. So much to say...the book would have given the people of God hope that He rules in the kingdom of men and He will keep His promises! We can learn the same today! Take a listen!

Inconsistent & Ostentatious Religion (Mt. 23) 20.06.2024

Matthew 23 is one of the most blistering chapters in all of Scripture. The most loving individual who ever lived rebuked the religious people of His day for their embedded sinful motives, character and practices. We can learn so much for today! Take a listen!

Context and Expository Preaching 05.06.2024

Aaron discusses the importance of the context of any given verse of Scripture and how expository preaching honors the context of God's word! This is a must hear episode! Take a listen!

Salvation by grace through faith 31.05.2024

Is salvation by faith ALONE? What about doing what Jesus said, the way Jesus said it, for the reason Jesus said to do it? Does obeying from the heart that form of doctine (i.e., being baptize into the death, burial and resurrection of Christ) invalidate the sacrifice of Jesus!? Take a listen!

Kingdom Reign of Christ (Mt. 22:1-14) 29.03.2024

In the parable of the Wedding feast Jesus empathized judgment to those who do not submit to Him and His power/reign. In Jesus' time, the Jews at large were not submissive to His power! God had a judgment prepared for them in their life time (Mt. 24:3-34) and He still has a final judgment to come for all people that will be a time of sentencing for our eternal destinations. Take a listen!

Jesus' Authority, Correction & Care (Mt. 21) 21.03.2024

Jesus boldly cleansed the temple not once but twice in His ministry. He was eaten up with zeal for God and God's things. We need to carefully follow the example of Jesus. We need to take care of ourselves and then help others to enjoy the care of Jesus. Take a listen!

Plain & Powerful Evidence (Matt. 20) 07.03.2024

Continuing in Matthew 20 I look at the details that Jesus predicted about His passion. So specific are these things that they very clearly serve as evidence that Jesus is divine. Jesus came to be Savior of the world and as such, His mission was for all. He knew exactly what would happen before He came and before it happened. Take a listen!

Marriage, Divorce & Remarriage (Mt. 19) 23.02.2024

In this episode I examine the context of Matthew 19:9 and the words of that statement. I expose and refute six commonly held false ideas. God's law is really not complicated. Man's desires and man's sins try to cloud the clear truth given. Open your Bible and take a listen!

Greatness & Forgiveness (Mt 18) 15.02.2024

Greatness and Forgiveness go hand in hand. In this episode I offer clear exegesis of Matthew 18:15-18 where Christians are commanded to personally address personal wrongs and also I offer some practical suggestions in how to handle such situations. Take a listen!

The Identity & Authority of Jesus (Mt 17) 26.01.2024

In this episode I continue my series in Matthew by examining the context of Matthew 17:1-9 where it's recorded that Jesus was transfigured before Peter, James and John and the Father in heaven spoke! What are is the significance of this even and what does it mean to you and me?

I Will Build My Church (Matt. 16) 19.01.2024

In this episode I continue my series in Matthew by examining the context of Matthew 16:13-20 where it's recorded Jesus said "I will build My Church." Did He build it? What is it? Which church is Jesus' Church? How does one become a member of it? Take a listen!

When Traditions Are Sinful (Matt. 15) 09.01.2024

A continuation of my series from book of Matthew. When quesitoned by the religious leaders as to why He and His disciples did not keep the traditions of the elder His response was powerful. Do people invalidate the commandments of God today? If so, who? What can we learn from Jesus' teaching here? Take a listen!

10 Min of Apologetics: Flood Traditions and Flood Words 08.12.2023

In this 10 min episode I highlight some details of a famous mythological flood account and point out it's significance to the Biblical text. I also overview some key words related to the flood that speak to it's global nature and worldwide impact. Take a listen!

Two by Two: Favorite Chapter, 1 John 3 06.12.2023

Aaron and Brock on December 4, 2023 discussed one of Brock's favorite chapters of the Bible, 1 John 3. We get into the meaning, importance and application of this very important section of Scripture. The main ideas are sin, forgiveness and the child of God. Very rich discussion. Take a listen!

10 Min Overview of Ezekiel 30.11.2023

God wanted Israel to KNOW that He is the Lord. God wants all people today to KNOW that He is the Lord, the Sovereign Ruler of heaven and earth! Ezekiel is a very overlooked book. In this overview I try to summarize its contents and it's themes. I hope it wets your appetite to study the book! Take a listen!

Newsprint: God Made Them Male and Female 28.11.2023

God not only made only male and female, but He also clearly defined marriage as a holy covenant between one male and one female. All fornication is sin. In this episode I review a good article written by Kenneth Gossett on this critical subject. Take a listen!

Two By Two: Favorite Chapter, Acts 7 21.11.2023

Aaron, Brock and guest Seth Parnell on November 20, 2023 discussed the defense of the first recorded Christian martyr Stephen (Acts 7). Stephen was fearless in teaching the truth of God's word. I wonder if it helped to changed Saul of Tarsus? This sermon is somewhat overlooked and in my opinion it's because of its length. This was a really good discussion! Take a listen!

Don’t Let The Many ”Interpretations” Deceive You 15.11.2023

I'm not sure what to title this but I discuss how in spite of the fact that many claim to have different "interpretations," that God wants ALL to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. He commands that we use our cognitive powers to handle His word carefully and that we will be judged by His word!
