When Sunshine Scoops ice cream shop loses its entire stock overnight, Benny, the owner, is ready to throw in the towel, but Nora’s got a hunch the summer heat wasn’t the only culprit—and she’s on the case before the business melts away for good. 

When Nora’s nemesis Caden digs up an old pirate map on the beach, he offers to sell it to her friend Freddie for a steep price, but Nora’s seen too many schemes to buy into buried treasure that easily.  Freddie needs the truth, and Nora’s the one to find it.

Disaster looms before opening night when the sets for the town’s prize play end up mysteriously soaked.  With town pride on the line Nora has to discover why they were water-logged before the curtains rise.  The show must go on, and luckily, Nora is on the case.

A local tour boat captain convinces a crowd of tourists he has captured Bissie, a legendary sea monster, on film.  However, Nora’s not entirely convinced. With the help of Trey and her friend, Captain Harriet she, decides to separate fact from fish tale.

When a rare gold coin disappears from Sunshine Bay’s Seafaring Museum, a brand-new security guard, Milo, gets in big trouble. If Nora doesn’t help Milo find the missing treasure, his first week on the job might be his last.

A customer at Louie’s Lobster Hut claims a seagull named Smudge stole her lobster roll right out of her hand. When she demands a replacement Nora suspects something doesn’t add up.  If Nora doesn’t crack the case, the shop’s reputation might take a swan dive.   

At the annual Taffy Count competition, Nora and Trey catch a case when their rival Caden wins with a suspicious strategy… 

At the bustling Sunshine Bay Flea Market, Nora, Trey, and their mom stumble upon what appears to be a priceless 1718 journal detailing the legendary capture of pirate Peg-Leg Pickette. But is the journal actually pirate booty or a bust?
