DJ Brains

So this week I've been absolutely hammered. The worst virus I've had for a long time. Despite coughing and spluttering my way through the show, I still managed to throw down. 100% fresh music once again this week. You producers never fail to amaze me. Big up. B

OH YEAH! I GOT ANOTHER MIX FOR YOU! I did a cover show last week that I filled with 100% vinyl classics. A proper UKG Feast. In anticipation for this Friday, I thought I'd upload it. 27th Feb 2015 - UKG Spot - UnderSolo Camden - Full details over at Facebook. Hope to see you down there. I'm spinning at 12pm-1am. BIG UP! B

What can I say... Crazy show. When Marvel's holding the mic down I kinda get carried away. 58 tunes in 2 hours! Not had that much fun in a long time. You're in a for a treat. We're hopefully trying to make Marvel more of a regular thing. So watch this space! Safe ones, B

I definitely needed some help from Autotune Jesus this week. Ever tried to do a 2 hour set with a fucked back? It's not fun. So I called it in a bit today. Still bare fire spun so it's not to be missed. The enthusiasm may be dialled back a bit from usual! Next show we should have guest host Marvel back for 2 hours of Spraying while I'm Playing. Don't miss it. Safe! B

Today's show is a proper kick in the dirtbox. Huge bass. Large beats. Had a lot of fun recording it as per usual. 100% unplayed beats once again, and it's still hectic. New music has never been so strong. Big up your chest. B

Well what a great start to the year. When I was putting this show together I was thinking that we might be a little bit short of big tunes this time round. How wrong I was. This show is fatter than your Nan full of Häagen-Dazs. Hope you enjoy! B

YO! Hope your collective Christmases were amazing. Mine was cool. I got new headphones and I've been telling everyone that will listen. They're beautiful. This was a showcase of December's greatest fresh bangers, along with my Best Of 2014 haphazardly thrown together. It's a bit loose in places, but I'm sure that's the same as all of your bowels after a savage Xmas period. Have a great New Year, a...

So this is my Christmas show. I played some new bits, I played some old bits. All in all, it was about as festive as a real life crucifixion. But, eh, so what? Merry Christmas one and all. Hope you enjoy. Side note - no live show on the 27th December as I'm doing other stuff. There will be podcast action, I just don't know when or where from. PEACE! (on earth) Brainzuz Christ

Another week, another imaginary session of my own tube rave in my head. This time around, the imaginary ravers are going crazy to all sorts. I thought I'd bring MJ Cole out for a play as I've not colluded with him much recently and he used to be my fav. Lots of other beats from people like Grades, Zed Bias, Club Asylum, TS7 and other charming chaps. Just remember to be careful who you buss your gu...

Words cannot describe the pain I went through on this show. I'd been out the previous night in Epping (shout out to the UKG Spot guys) and a friend of mine was on a mission to make everyone as much of a mess as possible. I had to take a break live on air and spew my guts up. So apologies if this one is a bit shaky! Hopefully it still stands up. Until the next (more sober) time B

Ever had the bass hit you so hard it made your bits rescind and climb back up inside you? I hope you're prepared. Large up your chesticles. B

Apologies if you're seeing this one late. There was a hiccup with the date in the feed so it ended up at the wrong end of the podcast. This one will climb inside you, give you a huge smile, and leave you in a sweaty happy mess. Hope you enjoy B

So die-hard Brainz fans may have already heard this one, but I thought I'd chuck it out there for the Tube Train ravers. Traktor ran a competition to do a mix with their app on an iDevice and I had a shot. Ultimately I'm disqualified due to it being 3 minutes too long, but whatevs. It's been on Mixcloud for a week or 2, but I thought I'd throw it up in the podcast feed for the takeaway gang. It's...

WARBLOW! This show was properly alright ya kna. Had a blast. Loads of fresh music. A slight stench of cheese in places. A boatload of savage bass. Swallow it down and enjoy. SAFE! B

Usual runnings this week, kids. Bare choons. Fat bass. DAYAM Brainz

This week's show was loud, lairy and intrusive. Get ready for some bass to kick the brown door in. Why was I obsessed with HJs this week? I have no idea. But you get good music. So happy days? I

Let me set your expectations high - this show was good. Had mad fun recording it and there were lots of faces in the chat for the duration. Bundles of fresh garage and bass to wrap your ears around. Three compilations to NOT MISS - all free. I'm letting you onto some of my secret weapons here! They are 3 albums you need in your life. ALL FREE.! Until next time. B

Easy now. Back for another week of fresh UKG and banging bass. I'll be honest, I wasn't fully on point for this show and some of it was a bit loose in places. Hopefully you can see past that and enjoy the tuna. Until next time! B

Howdy people. Not much to say this week, other than listen to some great tunes. So many bangers this week it's a joke. Also, you can catch me THIS FRIDAY down at Wot You Call It at The Old Blue Last in Shoreditch, spinning 100% new UK Garage. It's gonna be hench, so don't miss out! Big up, B

So in preparation for the big episode 200, I was checking back over the tunes I'd played when I got to Episode 142. Then I couldn't find it. WTF! So it turns out it was never published to the podcast feed. What a doughnut. It ended up on Mixcloud still somehow and even reached 2nd in the UK Garage charts. Nice! Anyway, here it is for your podcast consumption. First published in the podcast on 1st...

So it's been over 18 months since I smashed it up on the tube train for you. Well, I fancied it this week so we've got a fresh Tube Train Tear Up for you. Over the past 4 - 6 weeks, I've had so many tunes that I've not been able to play them all on radio. So I thought "what better way to give them a spin" than with a little commute mixing. Lots of nasty bass for you in this one. Hope you enjoy! B

So you may have caught on the madness that I caused for Soundcloud over the past 2 weeks. I got a LOT of coverage, and all I wanted was my account back. Read up on my story here. Basically - my advice is don't upload mixes to Soundcloud. Stick to Mixcloud instead. Speaking of Mixcloud - if you'd like to help support the Brainz, please vote for me in the Mixcloud radio show awards here. That would...

Grey Goose Gangstaz pic.twitter.com/qOl0Ke08Zn— Grey Goose Wanker (@GreyGooseWanker) March 20, 2014 So I've started to go full dickhead when I'm out. I'm mainly drinking straight vodka. Last night I went as far as buying a bottle of Grey Goose "for the table." Yeah I yammed most of that shit. And I'm now a proud owner of one of the worst hangovers I've ever had. Here's the only photo I m...

So I've just been notified of my 3rd strike on Soundcloud for copyright infringement which means they're going to close my account.. Great. All for uploading my radio show. Yet, there are numerous mixes of the same nature all over Soundcloud on "Big Named" DJs and Producers Soundcloud pages. They took my fucking money and still said "You know what, fuck you. We give big names a pass but you can vi...

What can I say? An absolutely savage show. I had super special guest Marvel in the place to make sure the hosting was on point. That allowed me to slam in the bangers. Had mad fun doing this show. You are in for a treat. Big up B
