James 3-4 The tongue can and has started fires. This small but mighty thing can only be tamed by the wisdom of God. Lets dig into the book of James to find out how.

James 1-2 We're not saying that we are believers, our faith compels us to act. Our works will show the world that we are believers. How we bridle our tongues, being quick to hear, how we care for the orphans & widows. Our faith in action is how the first apostles turned the world upside down!

Hebrews 12-13 As we complete our study in Hebrews lets remember to run the race set before us till we reach our goal, Jesus!

Hebrews 11: By Faith Those 2 words encompass the life of a believer everything we do is "by Faith" Lets dig into what the author of Hebrews has to say to the brethren.

Hebrews 9-10 tells us about the sacrifice that cancels the need of sacrificing bulls and goats, Jesus on the cross. Jesus sits down on the right hand of Christ because the work is finished once and for all.

In Hebrews 7-8, the writer tells us about the Priesthood of Jesus and how He provided a better covenant for us. Jesus is our intercessor forever.

God chose the perfect sacrifice and High Priest for all eternity, Jesus. Believe and learn of Him. Hold on the hope(salvation in Jesus) that has been set before you. Hebrews5-6

Hebrews 3-4 Jesus is greater and His rest satisfies and restores. Learn from the mistakes of Israel and submit to the sharp precision of the Word.

Hebrews 1-2 Christ is supreme. He is above all and crowned with Glory. The author of Hebrews tears down some comparisons and lets us all know who is supreme.

Some behaviors may be culturally or legally acceptable, BUT as a believer we are held to a higher standard. Listen to how Paul explains this standard. Philemon

Discipleship is not an option in the life of a believer. We should be discipled by someone further in the faith and we should be reaching back to disciple newer believers. This is way we all learn how to live this new life in Christ.

As a believer, we are expected to have an understanding of the gospel so that we can tell others. Be ready in every season of life that you go through.

Paul is still encouraging Timothy to stand strong in the faith while facing opposition in leadership. God gave us the holy spirit, His word & a calling. Don't let anyway shake your faith.

What are the traits of godly leaders? Should we focus on what they do in church or look at their home lives? We will read what the Word has to say about that and why we're seeing some depart from the faith. 1 Timothy chapter 3-4.

Paul warns young Pastor Timothy of the confusion that is easily spread in the body. Stick to what you know about Jesus! Listen in on 1 Timothy chapters 1-2

Paul is still talking to believers in Thessalonica. They're worried about the day of the Lord and some are getting lazy. Listen to what Paul says to them.
