Episodes

Season 5 Episode 16/Season 3 Episode 16 06.05.2022

It is DILF-o'clock everyone! Laura and Mads dive into the fantastic performances by Daddy Bobby and Daddy Judd this week. As well as the emotional connection to two different young adults calling their parental figure dad.

Season 5 Episode 15/Season 3 Episode 15 29.04.2022

Laura and Mads are not convinced there was anything compelling about either episodes of 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star this week. It's unfortunate that the character development is stalled this week. They discuss how these episodes fair in the grander scheme of the series' overall.

Season 5 Episode 14/Season 3 Episode 14 23.04.2022

This week 9-1-1 fairs better than Lone Star, but both episodes were still decent. If Lone Star doesn't solve it's Owen problem, the show is just going to continue to suffer. Listen in for more of Mary and Laura's opinions on the episodes.

Season 5 Episode 13/Season 3 Episode 13 15.04.2022

This week's episodes weren't all bad and we actually enjoyed ourselves. It's been a while since an episode hasn't made us completely angry. It's a nice change of pace.

Season 5 Episode 12/Season 3 Episode 12 01.04.2022

Mary and Laura breakdown what is working for 9-1-1 and what isn't working for 9-1-1: Lone Star. Basically both shows have some growing to do, which they aren't certain either of the shows will do.

Season 5 Episode 11/Season 3 Episode 11 25.03.2022

The time has come. 9-1-1 OG is BACK. Laura and Mary break down all the things that worked and didn't work with the mid-season premiere. We also break down the latest Lone Star episode and how Owen's presence continues to hurt the show. Come with us!

Season 3 Episode 10: Parental Guidance 18.03.2022

Mary and Laura lose their minds over how ridiculous most of the storylines from this episode were. Have we just thrown every shred of believability out the window?

Season 3 Episode 9: The Bird 11.03.2022

The latest episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star is filled with stories that don't make sense and a sense of disjointed focus. Join Mary and Laura as they discuss the ins and outs of one of the worst episodes of the series. (A bird should NEVER have that much focus.)

Season 3 Episode 8: In the Unlikely Event of an Emergency 04.03.2022

Justine drops by to cover for Laura in the latest episode of Dispatching the 118. Mary and Justine dive in deep comparing Owen's leadership style to that of Bobby Nash and the long lasting repercussions Gwyn's death will *hopefully* have on TK.

Season 3 Episode 7: Red vs. Blue 25.02.2022

Mary and Laura dive into why this episode had no clear path and made little sense in the grand scheme of things. How are you guys feeling after that bombshell at the end?

Season 3 Episode 6: The ATX-Files 18.02.2022

Despite this episode being a reference to another great FOX show...there was not a X-Files reference in sight...bummer. Other than that Mary and Laura thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Diving into different levels of characters we already know and love is always a fun time. Plus, who didn't love seeing Owen in a different respect?

Season 3 Episode 5: Child Care 11.02.2022

Mary and Laura discuss one of the best episodes of the season so far. While some of the story choices don't completely make sense, they still provide an opportunity for characters to shine.

Season 3 Episode 4: Push 04.02.2022

For one of the first times, Mary and Laura have some very different views on 9-1-1: Lone Star. They discuss their differences and revel in their similarities as the Ice Storm arc comes to an end. Bottom line: Tarlos' story is missing so many elements.

Season 3 Episode 3: Shock & Thaw 28.01.2022

Laura and Mary are joined by Justine to discuss the latest installment of the ice storm drama. They breakdown the ridiculousness of Owen Strand and the Migrants as well as the disappointment regarding TK's story. Tune in to also find out the latest BTS drama from the 9-1-1 universe!

Season 3 Episode 2: Thin Ice 14.01.2022

We deep dive into why Owen's storyline just doesn't make sense, what makes Paul so special, and TK's affinity for tragedy. Check it out and let us know your own thoughts about this episode.

Season 3 Episode 1: The Big Chill 07.01.2022

Mary and Laura switch gears to focus discussions on the new season of 9-1-1: Lone Star. The air may be chilly in Texas, but for the podcast things are certainly heating up. Listen in as they ponder what each of these events could mean for the season to come.

Season 5 Episode 10: Wrapped in Red 10.12.2021

Our good friend, Kat comes by to discuss the midseason finale with us! Tune in for an hour of shenanigans and Christmas gift predicting/assessing.

Season 5 Episode 9: Past Is Prologue 03.12.2021

Laura and Mary break down why Taylor has gone from a good character to a terrible character in 2 short years. Also, Bobby and Athena -- that is all.

Season 5 Episode 8: Defend in Place 19.11.2021

With all the drama going on and off screen with 9-1-1, Laura and Mary have PLENTY to talk about this week. We love an episode that really dives into the unity of the show. More of that please, 9-1-1!

Season 5 Episode 7: Ghost Stories 12.11.2021

What is 9-1-1 Season 5? Does anything in this universe make sense anymore? Come along with Mary and Laura as they discuss all this and more.

Season 5 Episode 6: Brawl in Cell Block 911 05.11.2021

The first really solid episode of the season and Mary and Laura somehow manage to talk all TV, not just 9-1-1. Don't worry, it all connects to 9-1-1 and this episode in the end. Basically, Taylor continues to lose the show star ratings. Come join us for all kinds of TV shenanigans.

Season 5 Episode 5: Peer Pressure 22.10.2021

Is there anything positive to say about "Peer Pressure?" Come join us in a conversation about the episode and find out!

Season 5 Episode 4: Home and Away 15.10.2021

Mary and Laura lose their damn minds about Kenneth Choi and his ability to cry on cue while also carrying on the most emotional conversation known to man. (Also, Buck deserved that slap.) Where are the writers going with the Grant/Nash family? I guess we will have to wait to find out.

Season 5 Episode 3: Desperate Measures 09.10.2021

This week Kat returns to hash out the flops of this season so far, but also why Buck and Eddie simply make sense. Join the three of us as we get to the heart of where we want these beloved characters to go.

Season 5 Episode 2: Desperate Times 01.10.2021

Mary and Laura go on a tangent about the good, the bad, and the downright ugly of this episode. It's official 9-1-1 needs the tag line: That doesn't mean what you think it means OR Suspend your disbelief.
