Dismembering Horror

Come with us as we journey back in time to a magical world where Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff are friends, but also enemies—frenemies, even! These “monster” icons battle each other in this week’s film The Black Cat , and neither of them are even wearing scary makeup!

What could be more iconic than one more confrontation between Michael and Laurie? Ryan and Tim take on the latest, but not the last chapter in the Halloween franchise. Let’s get dismembering!

This week Tim and Ryan gush over the beautiful photography in 1965’s " Onibaba" — and that’s not even to mention how much they loved the story: a hypnotic tale of survival, guilt, and the malevolence that comes out of desperation.

Happy Thanksgiving! This week we tackle one of Tim’s biggest fears: cursed hair! This film’s a mind-bending journey into body-horror, mixed with some very real human darkness. Tim attempts to summarize it, while Ryan gets giddy over some “hair raising” deaths.
