We discovered Haute Coffee by using the new Roseville Coffee Passport created by the Roseville Chamber of Commerce. It's crabfest (or crabfeed) season!! One of the hottest ones locally is put on by the Roseville Firefighters. Get tickets if you can! This event sold out in 8.5 hours after tickets went on sale. What a night!!

Oakhouse is a new steakhouse in Auburn. Just opened in November, 2025. A wonderful menu of steak and innovative sides. The rustic but modern decor create a warm atmosphere. Food, service, ambiance... a wonderful date night spot.

We came to this modern American grill for one reason only... prime rib!! Sienna is one of our favorite spots in Roseville and has THE BEST prime rib (only served Friday-Sunday). Ended the night with a nightcap at Le Tesh Wine Lounge too.

We were lucky enough to attend the grand opening of Tequileros Taqueria's new location in Roseville! This delicious food truck has expanded to several store fronts now and maintained its authentic flavor! Long line on opening day but the food came out fast and delicious!

Downtown Roseville's newest restaurant is Pedal Car Pizza & Gelato! Featuring handcrafted artisan pizza, salads, and local brews. Even our kids got to taste and review both the pizza and gelato. Yum!

Q1227 moved to the Galleria mall in Roseville and just recently began serving brunch. Only on Saturdays from 10am-2pm. For Justin's birthday we had to go to his favorite restaurant in town and try their new brunch menu. Just like their dinners, this is a southern comfort brunch. Yum!

In the heart of midtown Sacramento is Frog and Slim, a jazz themed supper club with a relaxed vibe and incredible food. They take traditional dishes and transform them to surprise your pallet.

ELDO Chophouse and Kitchen occupies the former Sienna location. Completely renovated for a modern and upscale feel. Wonderful specialty drinks and a reasonable wine menu. You must try the parker house rolls... delicious!

We went to the grand opening event for the new Fleming's Steakhouse in Roseville. This will be THE spot in Roseville very soon! Amazing steaks, wine and service! What an amazing addition to the Roseville foodie scene!

A work trip/vacation to Washington D.C. This city is a foodie town! Highlights include L'ardente, The Vue, and Old Ebbitt Grill across from the White House. We each had incredible meals on this trip.

We celebrated Katrina's birthday at a "new-to-us" restaurant. Allora in east Sacramento is a Michelin recognized, modern Italian, prix fixed menu restaurant with beautiful ambience and amazing service. Great spot for special occasions!

A family vacation to Disneyland that we attempted to turn into a foodie tour! Lucky for us, the Food & Wine Festival 2025 was taking place at California Adventures. What a magical weekend!

A local favorite for a reason! La Fornaretta is a 3rd generation family owned Sicilian restaurant specializing in family recipes that have been passed down. It doesn't get much more "family owned" than this!

We took a 14 day cruise around the Caribbean. 8 ports, 5 sea days, and lots of rum punches! Way too much to talk about but here are some of our foodie highlights. Enjoy!

Make your way to Waymaker Brewing. This is a taphouse with 50 beers on tap, a golf simulator, and a sushi bar. Some seating just to watch the games too. Great spot for the guys!
