Devotional Life With Paul and Jeanne

There is a friend, who loves you, who wants to speak to you everyday, who wants you with Him in eternity, with all that is eternally good.  Have you read His love letter to you lately, regularly, devotionally?  His word to you is the Bible, in it is what He thinks, what is in His heart for you.  Speak Lord, I Am Listening. 

Who can you share your heart with?  And who can truly share their heart with you?  This is the true bedrock of a genuine relationship.  And catch this, we can have this with God. Our sharing our hearts with Him and His sharing His heart with us.  

Here is an exciting thought, that the things we do today, the very way in which we live today reaches into the future, in fact into eternity, and not only our own eternity but into the lives and eternity of those God has placed around us to know and to love. 

With so very many distractions in our world, with so many things to take up our thought life, where should we be intentionally setting our focus?  For we Believer, what should be the great attention grabber for our lives? 

How great would it be if you could download a Fellowship APP.  This would be between you and the Lord, where you could discover His heart for you each and every day.  That is what we are after in our Walking With God series.  Where we are in constant connection with Him, it's the greatest adventure ever.  

There is a best way to 'walk' in this world, a best way to daily live in our relationship with God.  And to do that, it must be with intentionality, with awareness, with focus on where we are headed. Let's talk about that and how it is done. 

So, you find yourself off track in your life, in your heart, off track with God in your day, what are we to do?  Oh, what to do?  And going foreword what steps can be taken to avoid, really to keep ourselves right in our hearts and right with God?  

So you're walking in the Spirit, enjoying your fellowship your everyday relationship with God, and then somehow you find that you have gotten off track, slipped away, blown it, so how exactly to reconnect and get back on track? Let's consider that in todays podcast. 

How would you like to take a walk with God?  How about dinner with Jesus?  How about taking God to work with you?  This is actually what our faith offers us, a daily connection and inclusion of God in our every day living.  What could be greater, and so lets talk about it. 

Ever play the game of 'Keep Away' when you were young?  Where you had some valued possession that you held so dear that you dared not let anyone take away from you?  Well in a sense, yet to a far greater degree, there are spiritual things held by Believers that we should never allow a single thing to rob from us. This is what we will consider today. 

There are so many laws on the books that no could know them all and every year more and more laws are added, both good and bad, but there is something that the Bible declares has no laws against it, and full freedom is given to go for it.  What is it, you may have already guessed it is Love. 

Self-control could at first sound like a restrictive or even confining type of subject, but quite the opposite is true. Self-control is a blessing, it is actually freeing as it opens up to us victory over the things that do restrict and confine us, you see the self life, the self-centered life, is the biggest restrictor of all.  

Who knows the song; Great Is Thy Faithfulness?  It is a true classic sung by saints around the world for many many years.  Such a great treasure Believers have in the faithfulness of God our Father. He is true to His word. Bank on it, count on it, let it bring your life true purpose. 

David in one of the most loved Psalms, Psalm 23, declares; Surely Goodness and Mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.  If you know just where that goodness comes from and you are counting on the mercy of God, then you too can declare the very same thing.  So, for goodness sake, listen in today.  

How important is kindness to you, from others and from you to others?  Like a greeting from a friend, a 'have a great day' you pass along to make someone smile, these things are actually birthed out of love, genuine love.  Think of it, a simple act of kindness can change your day and the day of the one receiving your kindness.  And hasn't God been kind to you? 

On a scale of 1 to 10 how patience are you?  How about this, how patient on that same scale would you like to be?  Now, you know that there is Someone who has been patient with you and I must add very patient with me, and He would like to grow patience within each of us.  Let's take the time to think about this...  

Did you know that the Lord calls Himself the Lord of Peace?  Now come on, who doesn't need peace in this world, which makes it so great to know the very source of Peace, the very Lord of Peace. Let's talk peace for every circumstance. 

If Love was a tree what fruit would it grow.  I'm thinking that it would be like a tree with several fruits growing from it, and one of those fruits would surely be joy.  Joy, that deep down settled assurance that God loves you! Ready to enjoy the fruit of God's love for you? 

Do you have any eternal possessions?  You know it has been said, you can't take anything with you when you die.  So is there nothing to claim that you can take with you?  Yes there is, and let's talk about that today.   

Here's a question for you; what do you do that you will keep at, no matter what?  That you won't stop even if it is tested?  Let's look at that.  

Isn't hope an interesting thing, it is an expectation of something or someone that you are waiting for or on. It calls for patience doesn't it? It seems fragile but also can be a giver of great strength.  Is there a love and hope connection?  Let's consider that today.  

Love is sung about, written about, talked about, thought about, but where is the source, where and how do we come to find out what is the real deal?  I mean, is there a place to plug in, so to speak?  Let's consider this today.

Hang in there with Love, Hang in there loving God, and Loving others.  Cuz God never gives up on you, loving you, working on you, working in you and with you. 

So my friends how important is truth to you?  Should we compromise it for anything?  Is truth to be followed even if it costs us something?  It is something to be considered with all the voices out there these days. 

Aren't you thankful that once forgiven God does not keep record of our wrongs?  Now that is Love with a capital L, don't you think? Now how about you and me, how are we in the not keeping lists of others past transgressions?  Let's think about it.
