Do you know the direction your life is going? Do you know your destination? Just like your maps app can get you to a destination is the same way God's Word can get you to life. You listen to your phones voice to get somewhere. Why wouldn't you listen to God's voice on what to do next? He wants to get you more Christlike.

There are things in your life that matter a great deal. Others don't matter at all. Do you know what those things are in your life? Paul said that the greatest thing in life was knowing Jesus. Have you noticed that there are different terms for things? I think it's an attempt to change what's true and make it seem more inclusive and less harsh on the ear. But just because it's altered doesn't change the reality of it. I say we hold to what's true and call things what they are. Even if it might ruffle a few feathers.

If you mix water and orange juice, you don't have pure orange juice. It's diluted and weak. If you mix Jesus and something else, you have a pitiful Jesus who seems to need help. He is everything the Bible says he is. He is worthy of our obedience and trust. He stands alone as the only one in history that has done the things he did and has resurrected from the dead.

You know the voice of your family and friends. You can pick it out in a crowd or when they call on the phone. God's voice isn't so hard to hear. It's a matter of you listening and spending time getting more acquainted with his voice that makes all the difference.

How much repetition is all around you? Open an app on your phone or talk to a friend and you can hear the same man-made messages. Only the Word of God is original and tells the truth and does something for your heart. It's new and does wonders when it's present in your life. Pop quiz: What one word is repeated 3 times in a row in the Bible, saying that it's the most important?

This world is all around you and very enticing. It's a very large system and comes with messages and advertisements and a promise of fulfillment. But it can leave you empty, or be taken away. This episode we look at what the world has but more importantly what our view of this world should be.

Work. It's what everyone does to live. But how you work and why you work are important. You can work for a paycheck, but you can't work to earn love. You work for the right reasons, out of who you are. Let's check out some verses on what work looks like.
