Decades Of The Axe

This is the last episode of the series; and we follow the axe to its last swing. Or perhaps, just to a another murder?

The axe whispered first in Seguin—and the rails carried its echo. We are getting closer to the beginning, which in our case should point towards the end. In this episode we go all the way back to a potential beginning, where we listen to a possible first whisper from the axe.

Between 1911 and 1912 nearly 50 souls were taken by the axe-man. The number of death's forced action by the government, and in the fall of 1911, Clementine Barnabet was arrested. In this episode we look at the one suspect who actually got scentenced for the spree of murders. Was she guilty?

For a while, it seemed like the killer went everywhere all at once. One day a family wiped out in Monmouth, and a week later, the murders in Colorado Springa. About 1400 km away. He is never seen covered in blood, he never let's a drunken confession slip out. In this episode, we stop the train, to dig where we stand.
