We recently visited Iceland, British Aisles, and Portugal and Spain. Lesson learned--avoid traveling in summer.

We share the recent addition of our 4th grandbaby and our thoughts about the downfall of our beloved country.

Our son, daughter-in-law and our 5 y/o and 7 y/o grandkids came to visit us from Indiana. We took the whole family (including our younger son, his wife and 2 y/o) to Disneyland and stayed for two nights in Anaheim.

So much is happening in the world, we discuss some current issues and our fear and sadness of what is happening in the world. So dreading Trump 2.0. How could this happen?

Biden and Trump on Repeat, the Nightmare Continues. We talk about Putin and Netanyahu, migration and other catastrophic fears. But hope prevails!

We talk about our recent cruise to Greece and Italy. We summarize our year in 2023 and our hopes and fears for 2024. Happy New Year!!!!!

We talk about our wedding anniversary and Dave's 71st birthday. We also talk about world politics and how our upcoming trip was changed due to the war between Israel and Hamas. Scary times. We also talk about Dave and Todd's recent trip to Minnesota.

What a wonderful trip and what a way to celebrate Gwen's 70th. Americans have much to learn about the kindness and hospitality of the French. Travel changes you.....

So looking forward to have a vacation and celebrate Gwen's 70th birthday. We also provide updates about out kids, grandkids and political events. So angry about #45 and what this has done to our country.

We flew to Miami on 05/31 and met our Son, Daughter-in-Law and our two oldest Grandkids (ages 3 and 6). We went on the Disney Magic for a four night cruise to Nassau and Disney Cay. This was the first vacation for our grandkids and they got to play in the ocean, the beach and see Minnie, Mickey and Ariel. We hadn't seen this family in two years and it was spectacular being together.

Happy Mother's Day! We leave for the second attempt for the Disney Cruise in two weeks. Babysat our 10 month old granddaughter and we still got it!

We share updates about the earthquake in Turkey, Valentine's Day, the 5th anniversary of my sister's death and our wonderful kids and grandkids.

Well, we wanted to go on a cruise in 2022 but "life happens". Happy New Year to all and may 2023 bring us new journeys and peace....

Dave turned 70 and we visited with our son and daughter-in-law and 4 month old grandbaby. I made Dave's Mom's (Memo) spaghetti and we were able to host a zoom with all of our family. Felt the love....We also talk about our worries with the upcoming midterm elections

Another birthday and what a gift. Dave and I are the same age. We babysat our 2 month old granddaughter and we talk about recent news and plans for our upcoming Disney cruise trip. Major heat wave...

Our granddaughter was born at the same hospital where I worked for many years as well as Dave's Mom. Also this hospital is where our sons were born. We also talk about Herr Idiot Oompa Loompa and our hopes for the future (not Joe Biden). the BA-5 Covid variant is rampant and we still isolate as much as possible. Fires and floods and heat domes. Climate change continues...

We talk about the two historic days (06/23, 06/24) and the Supreme Court decisions. OK to conceal a gun and women no longer have constitutional rights for abortions. A new grandbaby any day now...
