Paul is in chains, but the gospel isn't. Everywhere he goes he gets to share with very influential leaders. God is working through his trials. We are all vessels for God's message of the gospel.

Paul on trial. Be careful of Oaths. Paul is as bold as a lion. He was sent to Felix, a man with conviction but no conversion.

Paul's first trial. What is Luke showing by spending so much time writing about the trials and arrests of Paul? Are you willing to suffer for Christ as Paul did? As Jesus did?

Pauls is on his 3rd missionary journey around Ephesus. He loves those people, so he warns them. He ends up in Jerusalem where he is arrested and most of his disciples will not see him again.

Psalms teach us how to praise in different circumstances. When we are in trouble, need hope for the future, when we see the wicked win, when we experience God's judgment, and how to have hope and celebration in his judgment and wrath.

Obstacles to the gospel: 1. lack of knowledge. 2. hard hearts. 3. sorcery. 4. deep idolatry (greed). 5. persecution. YET, the Word of the Lord will prevail!

Pauls reasons...a bunch. And so should we! Berean's are not closed off, but neither are they gullible. Be a berean.

The Holy Spirit speaks! Different styles of conversions.

The ministry of Paul and Barnabas. On fire. Won’t quit. Can’t keep them down! How big decisions were made in the early church (hint hint and how we should too)

Shifting our focus to Paul’s journeys. The depraved human heart will always remove the truth tellers. Who are your truth tellers?

The gospel to the Gentiles is not a new idea. Barnabas saw evidence of God‘s grace in Antioch. Why was James killed and Peter imprisoned to be set free? Herods death reveals the purpose of mankind.

What kind of prayer of an unconverted gentile is heard by God? The gospel is impartial and needs someone to preach it!

The apostles get pushed out of the nest. Philip is a gospel sharing machine. We see a false profession of faith and a true profession that seems false. God uses the same Spirit that brought Dorcas to life to save and sanctify his children.

Stephen shows the consistent nature of a sinful human heart, and the remedy in Jesus Christ.

Purity of the church. Function of persecution. Role of the pastor.

What does a true miracle look like? What does real preaching look like? What does persecution look like? What does the church look like?

Restoring the kingdom to Israel? The key to the book of Acts. Requirements of new apostles. What happened at Pentecost? What led to the salvation of 3000 souls? How should new believer spend their time?

Prayers for all of life’s circumstances

The resurrection. Possible false theories. Significance of the resurrection. Comments about the section that may or may not belong.

Jesus' many trials. The council meets and plots. Mark emphasizes the mocking that Jesus received. The cross shows the depths God will go to convince you have his word. Jesus was here to be humiliated not to make a name for his earthly self. Who can be saved? Who will believe?

Pharisees live for the glory of man. Mary shows true worship. Judith Shows, false worship and betrayal. Jesus picks a secret meeting place. Peter portrays pride before the fall. Jesus shows us the divine and human will of the eternal son of God. We see Jesus on trialand the silence of integrity and innocence.

The parable of the wicked tenants to show the evil nature of the Jews. Jesus believes in separation of church and state he proves the resurrection. He is the eternal son. No commendation for the poor widow and no admiration for the big temple. Jesus is coming back

Jesus‘s perfect predictions about the donkey. How fickle professions built on faulty expectations turns so quickly. lessons about judgment and prayer.

Jesus is tested by the Pharisees, he presents an exception to divorce. We see that we are to receive salvation like a child, and that God grants mercy to those such as infants and mentally impaired. The rich young ruler who didn’t want to get rid of his riches. Christians get an incredible benefit in salvation now in the church. Jesus gives us spiritual eyes.
