Daily Psalms for Lent

Day 3 of praying Psalm 122, "I was glad" ( Laetatus sum ), chanted using the KJV and Gregorian Chant Tone IV, followed by excerpts from the writings of St. Augustine and Martin Luther  on the last part of the psalm.

Day 1 of praying Psalm 25, Ad te, Domine, levavi, ("Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul") - psalm strongly associated to both the second and third Sundays in Lent. The psalm is chanted using the KJV and Gregorian Chant Tone I, followed by excerpts devotional from the writings of St. Augustine and Martin Luther.

Day 2 of praying Psalm 38, chanted using the KJV and Gregorian Chant Tone VIII, followed by excerpts from the writings of St. Augustine on verse 11 and Martin Luther on the end of the psalm.

Day 1 of praying and meditating upon the penitential Psalm 38, Domine ne in furore ("LORD, rebuke me not in Thy wrath"), chanted using the KJV and Gregorian Chant Tone IV, followed by excerpts from the writings of St. Augustine and Martin Luther on the first part of the psalm.

Day 3 of praying and meditating on Psalm 32, a penitential psalm. The psalm is first chanted using the KJV and Gregorian Chant Tone IV, then excerpts of Martin Luther on the psalm are read, followed by a prayer.

Day 2 of praying the penitential Psalm 32, chanted using the KJV and Gregorian Chant Tone IV, followed by more excerpts from Dr. Martin Luther.

Day 1 of praying Psalm 32, chanted using the KJV and Gregorian Chant Tone IV, followed by excerpts of Martin Luther on this penitential psalm.

The third and final day of praying Psalm 91 and hearing devotional excerpts from St. Augustine and Martin Luther. Today we hear Luther on vs. 8 ("You will look and see the recompense of the wicked") and Augustine on vss. 13–16 (treading upon the lion and dragon; rousing your faith from sleep; longing for eternal life; and toiling to see Christ).

Day 2 of praying and meditating upon Psalm 91, chanted using the KJV and Gregorian Chant Tone VIII, followed by an excerpt from St. Augustine on verse 4, where he expounds on the metaphors of being protected both under the Lord’s wings and by His shield.
