Daily Happy Episode 87: Walking in New York City 09.07.2026

Some of the best ideas don't happen in a meeting—they happen on a walk. One of my favorite ways to recharge is walking around New York City. Every neighborhood offers something new: different cultures, incredible food, unique architecture, and conversations in languages from around the world. It's a reminder that curiosity begins by simply paying attention. Walking isn't just enjoya...

Daily Happy Episode 86: Singing in the Shower 01.07.2026

Do you sing in the shower? It turns out that one of the simplest things we do for fun may also be one of the healthiest. Research has shown that singing can lower stress, encourage deeper breathing, boost mood, and even strengthen our sense of connection and well-being. The best part? You don't have to be a great singer to experience the benefits. That's why I love singing in the shower....

Daily Happy Episode 85: Coffee 24.06.2026

Coffee isn't just part of my morning—it's one of my daily happiness rituals. There's something incredibly grounding about the process. The aroma. The warmth of the mug. That first sip before the day begins in earnest. What's interesting is that coffee doesn't just make us feel good. Research has shown that moderate coffee consumption may offer real health benefits, includi...

Daily Happy Episode 83: Music Trivia 04.06.2026

Happiness doesn’t always come from big milestones. Sometimes it comes from something as simple as musical trivia. Hearing an old song and instantly remembering every lyric. Debating the wrong words to a chorus with friends. Getting transported back to a moment in life because of a melody. Music has a way of connecting people faster than almost anything else. A single song can spark memories, conve...

Daily Happy Episode 82: Playing Golf 28.05.2026

Lately, golf has become much more than a hobby for me. It’s become a reset button. In today’s episode of The Daily Happy , I talk about how playing golf has positively impacted my mental health, reduced stress, improved focus, and helped me slow down in a world that constantly pushes us to speed up. What’s fascinating is the science supports it too: ⛳ Walking several miles per round improves card...

Daily Happy Episode 81: The Costume Institute at the MET Museum 19.05.2026

Spent time at the Costume Institute exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art this week and walked away reminded of something important: Creativity matters. Not just in fashion, art, or museums — but in leadership, business, innovation, and everyday life. What struck me most was the extraordinary attention to detail behind every piece. The craftsmanship, imagination, storytelling, and patience req...

Daily Happy: Episode 80 Pickleball 14.05.2026

Lately, one of my biggest sources of happiness has been… pickleball. What started as “I’ll try it once” quickly turned into something I genuinely look forward to every week. And it turns out there’s real science behind why it feels so good. Studies show that racket sports like pickleball can improve cardiovascular health, coordination, balance, cognitive function, and even longevity. But beyond th...

Daily Happy Episode 79: Sunset Boat Cruise 12.05.2026

One of the healthiest things we can do for ourselves is slow down long enough to experience genuine happiness. Recently, I was on a sunset boat cruise, watching the sky shift from gold to pink to deep orange as the water reflected every color back like a mirror. For a little while, the constant noise of work, notifications, deadlines, and daily stress disappeared. It reminded me that happiness is...

Daily Happy Episode 78: Dolphin Watching 07.05.2026

Ever noticed how certain experiences instantly lift your mood? I recently went on a dolphin watching cruise—and it turns out, that feeling of joy isn’t just emotional, it’s biological. Studies show that observing playful animals like dolphins can boost dopamine and serotonin, the brain’s “feel-good” chemicals, while also reducing stress. There’s something powerful about stepping away from screens,...

Daily Happy Episode 77: Sitting in a hammock 29.04.2026

We don’t talk enough about the power of doing… nothing. The other day, I spent a few minutes sitting in a hammock—no phone, no agenda, just gently swaying. And it reminded me how rare it is to truly slow down. What struck me most is that this isn’t just a “nice break”—it’s actually backed by science. That simple rocking motion helps calm the nervous system, encourages deeper relaxation, and can ev...

Daily Happy Episode 76: Beach Walk 23.04.2026

Sometimes the most effective way to reset your mind isn’t complicated—it’s a simple walk on the beach. Science backs this up. The sound of waves can calm the nervous system, ocean air may boost serotonin levels, and walking in nature has been shown to reduce stress and improve mood. Even the act of looking at the horizon gives your brain a chance to rest and recharge. In a world that constantly pu...

Daily Happy Episode 75: volunteering 08.04.2026

We often think happiness comes from what we achieve, earn, or acquire. But research tells a different story: one of the most reliable ways to feel happier is to give. Volunteering isn’t just “nice to do”—it’s scientifically proven to boost well-being. When we help others, our brains release chemicals linked to happiness, connection, and reduced stress. It’s what some call the “helper’s high.” Beyo...

Daily Happy Episode 74: Easter 02.04.2026

Lately, I’ve been appreciating the simple joy that comes with this season. Easter, for me, isn’t just a holiday—it’s a reminder of renewal, fresh starts, and the quiet ways life begins again. Longer days, lighter energy, and small moments of happiness that are easy to overlook but powerful when you notice them. Sometimes, a shift in season is all it takes to reset your mindset. What’s one small th...

Daily Happy Episode 73: Warm Weather 27.03.2026

Lately, I’ve noticed how much the warm weather has been lifting my mood. ☀️ There’s something about stepping outside, feeling the sun, and breathing in fresh air that instantly resets my mindset. I feel more energized, more focused, and honestly just happier. It’s a good reminder that small, simple things—like a bit of sunshine—can have a big impact on how we show up each day. Support the show Sta...

Daily Happy Episode 72: Hope 20.03.2026

Hope isn’t just a nice idea—it’s a real, measurable force that shapes how we think, feel, and perform. In today’s episode of Daily Happy , I explore why hope is one of the most powerful drivers of happiness—and how science actually backs it up. Research in psychology shows that hope isn’t passive. It’s a skill built on three things:  • Setting meaningful goals  • Believing you can find a path forw...

The Daily Happy Episode 71: Mel Robbin's "The Let Them Theory" 05.03.2026

I just recorded a short Daily Happy podcast about why I love The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins. The idea is simple: Let them. Let them doubt you.  Let them misunderstand you.  Let them choose differently. And then: Let me.  Let me protect my energy.  Let me focus on what I can control. As leaders, we waste so much time trying to manage other people’s reactions. This mindset shift creates clarity,...

Daily Happy Episode 70: Art of noticing 19.02.2026

This episode explores the art of noticing and how recognizing your “invisible wins” can shift your mindset, strengthen resilience, and bring more meaning to your daily life. Daily Happy Episode 69: Cup of Tea 10.02.2026

A simple cup of tea made me pause — and that pause made me happier than expected. Beyond comfort, science backs it up. Tea contains L-theanine, which promotes calm focus, helping reduce stress without causing drowsiness. It’s also rich in antioxidants that support heart health, cellular protection, and overall well-being. Even the ritual itself matters: small, intentional routines are shown to low...

Daily Happy Episode 68: Descheduling 04.02.2026

Hey rockstars, welcome back to Daily Happy — the short and sweet podcast designed to make your day a little brighter. Today, the thing that’s making me happy is descheduling. For a long time, my calendar looked like a game of Tetris gone too far — every hour packed, every block filled. I believed that full calendars meant productivity, responsibility, and success. Lately, I’ve been experimenting w...

Daily Happy Episode 67 Adam Grant Hidden Potential: The Science of Achieving Greater Things 29.01.2026

Lately, I’ve been feeling genuinely energized by Adam Grant’s book Hidden Potential: The Science of Achieving Greater Things . What I appreciate most is how it reframes “potential.” Instead of treating it as something fixed or innate, Grant shows that growth is largely about creating the right conditions : how we practice, who we learn from, and how we respond to setbacks. That shift has been quie...

Daily Happy Episode 66: The Princess Bride 27.01.2026

This episode dives into The Princess Bride and why this beloved classic continues to make us happy—decades later. For me, it’s the perfect mix of comfort, humor, and heart: a story that doesn’t take itself too seriously while still believing deeply in love, friendship, and happy endings. We talk about how familiar stories can calm us, make us laugh, and remind us that optimism is still a powerful...

Daily Happy Episode 65: Prioritizing Rest 22.01.2026

Rest isn’t a reward for finishing your to-do list. It’s a requirement for doing your best work. Science shows that consistent rest improves focus, emotional regulation, creativity, and decision-making. When we’re well-rested, we don’t just perform better—we collaborate better, think clearer, and show up as better humans. Burnout doesn’t come from working too hard once in a while. It comes from nev...

Daily Happy: Episode 64: Goal Setting 15.01.2026

Goal setting isn’t just a productivity tool — it’s a happiness strategy. Research from positive psychology shows that setting clear, meaningful goals increases motivation, confidence, and overall life satisfaction. When we work toward a goal, our brains release dopamine, reinforcing a sense of progress and purpose. Interestingly, studies also show that happiness doesn’t only come from achieving go...

Daily Happy: Episode 63: Gratitude Journal 13.01.2026

I  started a gratitude journal recently. Not the “leather-bound, 5am, candle-lit” kind.  More the “wrote three things down while my coffee cooled” kind. Turns out, it actually works. When you train your brain to notice what’s going right, it starts showing you more of it.  Hot coffee.  A meeting that ends early.  An email that doesn’t say “per my last message.” Some days my gratitude list is deep...
