There is power in sharing the good news!  There is power in telling others about Jesus and how He works wonders in the life of those who will believe.  See in this episode another example of how someone took what she heard, applied faith, and received her healing!

This episode reveals how important it is to share what you know about Jesus with others.  Your testimony could be key in that person's salvation, healing, joy, and peace.  

Prayer is often dismissed as a secondary plan or last option.  In this episode we will see that the church chose prayer as its first option to aid a fellow believer.  The results of that prayer is phenomenal.  

Too often we allow our minds to dwell on the difficulties of life.  We give way to anxiety and unease.  The tendency to worry presents a problem for the believer.  Jesus has said that worrying is waste of our time and it takes away from our lives.  Therefore, He said do not worry. How do we combat this foe?  Stay tuned.

We don't all come to Jesus in the same way.  Yet, He is well able to handle whatever method we choose.  The foundational ingredient, though, is faith.  In today's episode we will see two people who came to Jesus in two different ways and they received what they hoped for!  

We were created in the image and likeness of God. But what is God's image? What happened to our image after the Fall in the Garden of Eden?  Has that image been lost? Let's talk about it.

Jesus again is accused of violating the rules.  What Jesus is interested in is not rules, but relationship and in this passage He lets the religious leaders know that dutifully performing tasks is not acceptable if the heart is not connected to God.  In this episode we will see how Jesus responds to His critics and sets the course for proper worship.

In Mark 5 we see an interaction Jesus had with a man possessed with an evil spirit. This interaction changes this man's life (and possibly others) forever for the better.  We also see in this passage that not everyone will be happy with your transformation or the good that Jesus does!  Jesus was put out of the town.

This episode shows the mercy of Jesus.  Even though the Law demanded punishment for the sin, Jesus showed compassion and mercy.  When we accuse others of sin we should sure that there is no sin in our closet that needs to be confessed.  We should get the plank out of our eye first before trying to get the speck out of another's. Jesus had many interactions with people during His tenure on earth.  One of the interactions is with a crowd and it is recorded in John 6. The conversation Jesus has with the crowd is enlightening and in classic Jesus form He does not sugarcoat His words.  He tells in the conversation about motive for following after Him and how to gain eternal and sustaining life.

This is a continuation of the Conversation with Jesus series.  This episode looks at the impact Jesus' words had on the man who had been sick for a very long time, 38 years!  Note, it does not matter how long you have been experiencing the difficulty Jesus is well able to remove, ease, and eliminate it from you and restore your life. God desires that we learn His Word!  Yet, in order to benefit from God's word we must do it!  We must put His word into practice in our lives.  Let's go to James 1:19-27 to discover the importance of listening, hearing, and doing!  

Listen!  God's love is AMAZING!  We cannot really understand its depth or power.  Even though we sin He is ALWAYS willing to receive us back to Him when we return in humility and repentance.  The only way out of God's love is you choosing not to have it!  Let's take a look at how the Father's love is always present, even when grievous error is committed by those He loves....

A major component in prayer is believing that you have received what you've asked.  There is, however, a pitfall to receiving and that is doubt.  When we doubt we can't expect to receive.  James warns us in the first chapter of his book to be mindful of the doubt that may creep into our thinking.  One who doubts God should not expect to receive anything from Him.  

Is it possible to have joy when going through adversity? According to James, Jesus' brother, we should consider joy when we face trials of many kinds.  Instead of giving way to feelings of despair he suggests we jump on joy.  In this lesson we see how joy can aid us when these difficulties show up.

This session discusses John the Baptist's testimony about his identity and purpose.  He mission was not to shed light on himself, but on the Savior.  He stood strong in his purpose.  He knew it and he operated in it with excellence.  He would not allow others to intimidate him or cause him to compete.  We, too, must know our purpose and walk in it with confidence.
