We can never have too much discussion or teaching on prayer, especially when Jesus is giving the instruction. In today's episode we will see that Jesus encourages prayer and says we can pray about ANYTHING! It's the posture of the prayer that gets results. There is no secret to it. Jesus lets us know how to receive answers.

I tried desperately to make something work and it was not coming together. I became frustrated and agitated because I wanted it to go as I planned. Jesus told a parable that to show His disciples that men ought to always pray and not lose heart; not give up.  (Luke 18:1)  It's always a good time to pray.  So, let's pray today.  God will hear and answer our prayers!

Being courageous requires a deliberate and intentional action or movement on our part especially in the face of pain, difficulty, grief, or danger. It does not mean you will not feel feelings of fear it just says you'll move forward despite them.

Sometimes it is hard for us to rejoice when someone who has hurt us repents.  Most likely we want that person to suffer for what he/she has done.  But, God wants us to forgive and join in the celebration when someone returns to Him. We should not discount the words we say.   Every word will be judged, even the idle, careless, worthless, and pointless ones.  Jesus said so!  The words we speak with either show our innocence or guilt in relation to our thoughts, belief, and behavior towards Jesus!  Words really do matter!

It is important that our words align with what we are believing God to do in our lives.  When you pray make sure you say those things that are in keeping with the prayer and not confess the counter!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!  CHRISTMAS!  We have been given the most precious gift of all in Christ Jesus, but have we truly received the gift?  Is the gift we use seldomly or intentionally?  God's gift to us is good and very good.  It is the only gift we will ever receive that never changes.  It is the only gift that gives and gives and gives.  Let...

Words really do matter!  We need to monitor what is coming from our mouths, particularly if we want to be prosperous and successful.  Our Heavenly Father has given us the solution to attaining a successful life, and much of it depends on the words we speak.  God's words are powerful and effective.  We must put His word in our hearts so that when we speak, they will come about....

God hates liars!  There is no profit in lying and God will punish all liars!  When we lie, we try God's patience.  We must get our tongues in proper order.  Be truthful and honor God! Continuing to test God by being deceitful can have deadly consequences.

There are times we complain and not realize our complaining is an indictment against God.  We are often guilty of testing His patience, intelligence, and ability.  When we do this we are putting ourselves at risk of being dismissed from His promises!  

Having faith in God comes with great gains!  Trusting God, no matter the situation, works in favor of those who believe in Him with their whole heart!  Sometimes, we will be hit with disturbing news.  It is during these times that we must hold on to our faith!  If you keep your mind on the Lord, He will keep you in perfect peace!

Thanksgiving is truly more than a holiday.  It involves more than time off from work, eating lots of food, and gathering with family.  Yes, we are happy to be able to do those things, but Thanksgiving is much more.  We need to know that Thanksgiving is God's idea and His will for our lives.  Hope this episode provides some inspiration to your day as you reflect and remember God...
